This house smelled bad as soon as we opened the door and we should have known to never stay. We stayed one night and regretted it beyond measure. We woke up to bed bugs and our entire world flipped. We are in the process of moving to the area so having another place to go with kids and dogs is a challenge. The property management company was hard to deal with and did not think the bed bugs were a big issue. Multiple times we were told “it’s a minor issue” and that the property is “completely acceptable to stay in.” They “hired two pest control companies to investigate our claims that’s supposedly did not find any bed bugs. We went back to the property to get more evidence in the form of video proof. Then and only then did they start the discussion about a refund. I would never stay at another Patriot Family home property after investigation they have poor reviews through the BBB. Who knows if they treated this before the next family is subject to the same environment that we were.

We discovered issues that seemed to indicate someone slept in this home after it was cleaned and before we got there. The prop management was completely unwilling to work with us and weakly offered to give us half of the cleaning fee as a refund, which makes no sense since we were only there for five minutes. I highly discourage anyone from using anything this company manages. I would have been mollified had we been charged for one night and refunded for the remaining nights, but there was nothing humble or helpful from any contact I had with them.

When we arrived it took like twenty minutes to get in. There was a window in the back open wide with screen removed and layed next to open window. Someone obviously had used this to enter so we were nervous and we first couldn't get window down and our cat jumped out. We had to shut that room offand hope he would jump back in. We were miserable for five long nights without him. We walked and called his name several times a day. He came back on the sixth morning. Thank you God. It was a nightmare. You couldn't take a bath before tub was filthy. Mold and just needed to be bleached and new caulk

Our stay was great unfortunately we had to be in town for a family illness

Rental was as advertised and priced. I only needed the basics for food preparation and sleep during a short stay in Huntsville. This VRBO fit the bill nicely.

The beds seemed newer and the bedding was pretty nice. The back yard is awesome. The house was pretty dirty. It smelled of heavy bleach use so we had to let it air out a bit. Expected it to be clean based on the smell but that was not the case.

Beautiful home and great people to rent from
