Very nice location closed to the major cities (just in the middle between Menton and Monaco) but the added value has been Thierry, the gourmant breackfasts he carefully prepared for us every morning in typical Franch "flavor" served on a fresch mediterranean terrace with a worderful sea view

Very kind hosts. Room was a good size. Balcony was amazing with great view. Breakfast was very very good.
The driveway was very difficult to get up. Also difficult to park/get out of the parking. Would suggest a small car when booking this hotel.

The location is tucked away, which means it is quiet and private. Stunning, stunning, stunning view from the spacious room and balcony. Beautiful breakfast served at the time of your choice, with fresh fruit, bread and pastries - we could not get through it all! Lovely staff looked after us. It is a fair walk down to the train / beach, so you need to be fit enough to get back up! But totally worth it for the view. And the beaches are just beautiful. Visit the Eileen Gray house nearby while you're there - book a tour in advance.

Excellent host, great views from the room, great recommendations made by Thierry, impressive breakfast
If you don't like hiking, this is not the place for you. We didn't mind it, but love it.

Soutariba is the perfect location for a visit to Villa-1027. Stunning view of Monaco, sunlit by day and twinkling jewel by night. lovely cool balcony and beautifully appointed room. Breakfast is absolutely fabulous and varied during our stay with fresh fruit ,yoghurt, croissant , delicious freshly baked bread and cake, also an excellent hot dish; all served on the terrace with a view across the Med. Easy access to the restaurants and sites in the village above , and although steep, the walk to and from the station is less daunting than we had feared. but if necessary it should be possible to order an Uber taxi from either Roquebrune or Carnoles station if you have very heavy bags - we are not the fittest and managed fine, with our reward of Soutariba at the end of the walk. Trains from local Roquebrune Cap Martin serve every station between Nice. and Ventimille over the border in Italy - the beautiful old town of Menton just ten minutes away. Beautiful beach below Soutariba . Thierry is a true gentleman and a fabulous host who went above and beyond to look after us when we needed his help. Thank you Thierry for your kindness and we hope to visit Soutariba again. Highly recommend !
All perfect thank you

This chambre d'hotes is incredibly located in the cliffs of Roquebrune. The view is stunning. The house's design is also fantastic. But most of all, the host, Thierry, was one of the kindest people that I've met during my travels. He was always willing to answer questions and point us in the right direction to explore the area. He also shared his perspective on French culture and history and the region, which is always great to hear as foreigners. I sincerely hope to visit again.
Nothing. Every aspect of this stay met or exceeded my expectations.

- Feeling of Home away from Home
- Thierry is an amazing host, nothing was too much, everything we wanted was possible
- The views from the bkfst and room balconies are breathtaking
- The area around the house are worth discovering, ideally on foot
- The furry companion to Thierry (cat)
nothing comes to my mind.

What a delight! We knew nothing about Monaco before arriving here. This lovely B&B showed up on Booking.com. We are so glad we were able to book 2-night stay since it was mostly sold out. When we left, we felt like we’d just spent the weekend with an old friend in his well-appointed, charming, Mediterranean style country house, perched on a cliff overlooking the sapphire blue ocean. The property has 2-guestrooms, one with en-suite bath, and the other has adjoining bigger bath right outside the door of your room but totally private. We booked both rooms for our family. In-room amenities included mini-fridge with 2 big complimentary bottled waters, coffee & tea makers with finest options of organic teabags. Bedding soft and comfortable; well-lit bath has heated towel-rack complete with toiletries and best of all, very good water-pressure from rain & hand-held shower-fixtures for taking a fast bath, never running out of hot water. Breakfasts were delicious, with French cuisine spread of homemade lip-smacking marmalades, breads, cake, sweet brioche, egg/cold deli meat item, yogurt, fruits, juice, coffee/tea served in the dining room with antique furniture, old-world décor of vintage banjos, world’s oldest binocular, oil-lamp lanterns, copper tea-set, an oldest sewing machine and vintage rotary phone in the hallway. It shows how passionate and antique aficionado the host is, to share his home and cook for his guests. Watching ethereal light from our room’s spacious balcony at sunrise and sunset was a near spiritual experience. Parking is free inside the property. Tip: Avoid coming in a big vehicle. Driveway from the gate is narrow. There are about 30 steps from parking to the entry, it’s best to bring light luggage. Above all, the most hospitable and polite owner Thierry couldn’t have been more accommodating with his service and recommendations, especially when he doesn’t speak English, but does his best with the help of translation app.

Beautiful property - extremely spacious room, very clean, lovely modern bathroom and exceptional view. Breakfast was amazing - freshly made that morning with so many unique touches. Thierry is an amazing host - lovely, helpful and so attentive.
Just a note - if you have a low car, the driveway is quite steep so difficult to get up.

Everything was beyond great: views, host, breakfast, cleanliness, surroundings…
It was quite hot in the room due to lack of AC, but this we knew to expect before arrival.

Everything about our stay at Soutariba was splendid - especially the kind hospitality of Thierry who picked us up at the Train station, sparing us 1,000 steps with baggage. The generous balcony overlooking Cap-Martin with a view to Monaco, is spectacular. Also, a short climb up to the medieval village of Roquebrune, with its 1,000 year old trees, 10C chateau, and the tomb of Le Corbusier.

in spite of the language difficulties, Thierry was the perfect host and we would love to return again.
Quite a climb from the car park, but worth the view from the top!

View was fabulous and breakfast was great. Our host and hostess, as is the manager of the property, were exceedingly helpful and accommodating. The balcony of our room has a spectacular view of the Mediterranean and of Monaco/Monte Carlo. The city light view at night was also a treat. The room is big, very clean, comfortable and the bathroom huge and has been updated. There is a medieval village at the top of the hill above the BnB which is very charming and well worth a visit.
Access to public transportation was difficult.

Soutariba is a stunning home, with terraces overlooking the bay and views extending to Monaco. It is an older home but maintained with utmost care and the most superb taste; everything is spotlessly clean and very modern inside. The rooms appear a little dark in photos but in person are beautifully appointed and very comfortable, including the large sunny private terraces (in rooms with sea view), a fridge with water bottles, a TV, coffee maker, soft comforter, good Wifi, and an enormous modern bathroom with beautiful open rain shower. Our host spoke little English but was so warm and welcoming, he clearly has a very kind and generous spirit! He also provided us a wonderful breakfast of omelette, giant croissants, strong coffee, fruits - all out on the terrace overlooking the water, just wonderful. We had a rental car and while driving to Soutariba is a little bit winding, it was not hard to find. It is also right at the base of the stairs up to Roquebrune cap Martin which is a gorgeous little medieval village that should not be missed. Parking was not a problem in a little set-off area from the property, and you bring your luggage up on foot up the driveway and stairs. So glad we stayed here and thankful to the host for having us!
It’s just a note that like most places in the area with beautiful views, Soutariba requires that you be fit to climb a steep driveway and steps with your luggage, and it might not be accessible for people with limited mobility.

View, view, view!! and as well of course the room was lovely! full of room amenity, rich continental breakfast, kind host, sun chair, amazing terrace, pretty lighting fixtures, small living room (which was also cozy) and many other things I can’t name them all.

The location was perfect, a stunning view and just a stone's throw away from Menton and Monaco. In fact, our room had a private terrace looking over Monte Carlo.
The host was exceptional in all ways, we went out of the way to help us feel at home. The homemade breakfast every morning was great.
Honestly, there is not a single thing we did not like about the place.
