This is my second stay at the property (for Primadonna LitFest) and I’ve booked again for 2024. That says it all! Central location, nicely decorated, welcoming feel. Just charming.

Liked the location. Liked the property. Close to town centre. Bed was comfortable, better than last time.

Stain on carpet in bedroom....quite big. Water pressure in shower very low. Cleaning in bathroom wast great. Property needs tlc A fan should be supplied as it was very warm and muggy.

This is a lovely little cottage overlooking a village green and church. It has excellent amenities with a sitting room and full kitchen downstairs and two double bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. The host provided detailed instructions on finding and accessing the property and associated parking space. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional - just make sure you pull the blind down while showering if you're tall so you don't flash the people on the nearby road. :P The village is lovely and the cottage is perfectly situated to head out for a meal or check out the main street shops.

I understood that the parking would be away from the property and that was understandable, given its position. When we arrived in the early evening, we were able to pull up out front and unload our bags etc and then move the car without any problems. Unfortunately, when we checked out, the area in front of the property is a "no standing" area from early morning and it was only out of the kindness of the local traffic officer that we avoided a fine in the five minutes it took to load up the car in preparation to leave. If you don't have a lot of luggage it would be easy enough to walk it to where the car park is but we had several large bags which meant this wasn't possible. As it happened, the nice traffic officer gave us advice to visit the nearby village of Lavenham instead of a ticket. Which we did, and it was great. So it all worked out in the end.

Booked this accommodation for two authors attending a crime festival at the local library. They were very happy with it and we will definitely use it again if we need to.

Ideal location and size for a short stay. Lovely features in the cottage.

A bit more cutlery especially teaspoons would have made life a bit easier.

Extremely difficult to find the parking, drove round town several times and asked locals for directions. Eventually had to call owner who talked us through the route.

Beautiful cottage! Has everything you need, my little girl loved the toys and guitar. Thank you for the little bottles of wine and chocolate on arrival such a lovely touch. I will be back soon. Recommend 100%

Its a lovely cottage which is really well done out. Its quite cold this time of year but the heating soon got it warmed up and there were plenty of comfort blankets to keep you warm while watching TV. Host left a lovely note with some wine and chocolates which i thought was a great touch. I didnt go out as i was there for work and by the time i finished i just wanted to stay in but i noticed that its situated in walking distance to everything you could need. I would recommend and i would return

Parking is difficult. There is some parking which you get directions for but when i got there it was already full. I parked on a single yellow line in a near street but i didnt see the sign for parking times and i ended up getting a parking fine.

Absolutley superb. One of the best places we have stopped at.
