We were very well welcomed and the conditions of the accommodation were good. We particularly like the decoration of the space and the fact that it is very clean/hygienic.

Please pay attention to the security regarding the small access gate to the main road, perhaps a solution is to add a self-closing system, to avoid disasters with families with young children. We noticed that this gate was open when our son came to the outside/garden of the accommodation.

Clean and comfy property just a short distance from the historic city walls. The host helped us book bike rental which was very convenient for getting to Lucca city centre!

We had a ground floor room which was a lot darker than the photos suggested, and as all windows faced the main road you couldn't really keep the curtains open much. Perhaps not the best value for money but for one night it was fine.

The accommodation is very lovely and stylishly furnished. The room is spacious and invites you to linger. The location is ideal. From Lucca you can reach Pisa in a very short time, whereby the small, sweet old town of Lucca is highly recommended. We felt very safe in the accommodation. The hosts are very friendly and booking was easy. We recommend!

Good location close to the motorway exit in a very quiet area. Private parking and all comforts and facilities. The building has been recently and nicely refurbished so all is brand new. Room and bed very comfortable. Staff very helpful via WhatsApp (we did not met them directly).

The apartment still contained some materials from the recent refurbishment works. Cleanliness to be improved. Breakfast not in line with the required price (additional 15€per person): all industrial food, no bread, no yogurt, no home made cakes, milk on request even if a brand new refrigerator was available.

We stayed in the Verderame Rooms & Suite in Lucca while on a family trip through Italy and felt very lucky to have chosen the city and especially this house for our stay. We also could not have wished for better hosts than Chiara and Michele. Upon arrival Chiara welcomed us and was very gracious with her time, answering the many questions we had about Lucca, where to dine and which food to order in a restaurant to get an authentic, local experience. She also acted as a local guide, giving us recommendations on what to see while we were in the area. For the entirety of our trip, we made a deliberate choice not to stay in hotels, but rather choose privately owned lodging like the house Chiara and Michele offered. This is because we wanted to get a taste of the openness and hospitality Italian culture is so famous for. Chiara and Michele's place exceeded our expectations both in terms of their friendliness and kindness they showed us, as well as in terms of the lodging they offered. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean, and designed with a lot of attention to detail. As guests we felt immediately welcome and at home. What is more, Lucca as a city has a lot to offer. We enjoyed evening strolls through the narrow, romantic streets and the warm, friendly atmosphere that permeated all around. This small town in the Toscana is definitely worth a visit and will surprise you with amazing food and ice cream, and many smiling faces in it's streets. Life here seems less hectic and more social than in other parts of the world, with people taking the necessary time for conversations that happen often over food in one of the many squares of the city. If you're traveling in the area, make sure to visit Lucca and choose the Verderame Rooms & Suite as your place to stay. We spent a very enjoyable time there and we already know we will be back. Freshly renovated with an amazing services and facilities. Hope to have the opportunity to visit this place again.

The hotel is just opened, our stay was the first day of operation, everything was clean, all the standards of brand hotels were followed, the owners were very welcoming and caring. They even did a discount for us, since we arrived late in the night. No noise, AC was working properly, a large parking space, coffee machine in the room, high quality bath liquids and more. They paid attention on every detail. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to the visitors or the guests who want to relax.

I liked the self check-in which was very easy. Air conditioning worked perfectly and there was a fridge to keep your drinks (very) cold. Good shower and good matrass, blinds to make the room completely dark. Outside space to enjoy the sun or have a sigarette. Very good price/quality, definitely would stay here again.
