My husband and I spent two nights here and it was one of the highlights of our 10-day Nicaragua trip! We had some much-needed time to disconnect from the day-to-day and relax. Don’t be discouraged by the relatively limited reviews… the name of the business recently changed and the owners unfortunately lost years of reviews. The isleta is owned and run by a beautiful French couple who made us feel at home and were great company and conversation. The way they have built and operated the hotel makes it clear that they have the utmost respect for nature and the local community. The food was excellent and they easily catered to my dietary restrictions. I will be recommending a stay here to any of my friends or family who are visiting Nicaragua!
