This property was spectacular. We did an extended family trip here with kids and grownups in tow. This house delivered and then some. It is VERY close to the beach and has very nice amenities. We’ll probably be back next year!

This property was amazing. The attention to detail in every room was perfect! Loved all the decor and layout of this home. The porches with ocean view were so beautiful. This home is great for families, a perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely be back. Lasting memories made!

This home is everything it says it is in the description and more. We had my wife and I and six young adults. Everyone had plenty of space and the main living area is awesome - very open with lots of places to sit, hang out and play games. Large decks with comfortable seating. All the things you need for the beach, pop up tent for shade, wagon to haul things, boogie boards, plenty of chairs, beach towels etc. Would highly recommend this beach house!!

This home is exactly as advertised. Short walk to the beach, beautiful outdoor seating areas and lots of room for family. Lots of extras that you usually don’t find in VRBO rentals.

Very close to the beach access, owner arranged for a few specific accommodations for the children. Loved that there were beach toys, kites, tents, wagons, etc. available for use.

We stayed at this property with two families including 5 kids under 10 and it was lovely. The house was very well equipped and clean and there was plenty of space for everyone without ever feeling crowded. The outdoor seating areas were particular impressive, with balconies off almost every room with views of the ocean. Proximity to the beach made hauling our crew easy. Hands down our favorite Galveston rental to date and we hope to return soon.

It was a well equipped place with a short walk to the beach. Great place for kids and family. It is very nice.

The owners have brought island life inside in such thoughtful detail. Comfortable and inviting. Especially loved the decks with views of the beach and plenty of rocking chairs and chairs to enjoy the ocean breeze and sunrises and sunsets.

Spectacular. The property is in like new condition. The furnishings are upscale and very tasteful. It had just been decorated for Christmas and the decorations were wonderful. The whole =hose is a designer delight. Everything looks like it has been staged by a professional for a showing to see. Beautiful.

We have a great time. House was clean and spacious for our family. Short walk to the beach, view of the beach was nice and the neighborhood was even better. Beachside Village is an upscale neighborhood Victorian style on stilts. Houses are colorful and relatively new. I highly recommend staying at this property. There is nothing negative about this property and it's host. Thanks to Camyll for hosting!

Our family of 9 adults and 2 children had a great stay at this house. It was clean, tastefully decorated, and had wonderful porches and good hang out spaces. We found we went into town less because the house was so comfortable. The house has some nice features. For example, the air temperature stayed constant. Unlike previous years, we were not having major tussles over the thermostat. The house had features to reduce noise, like the cabinets and drawers that "catch" and slowly close, and a hot water dispenser on the sink which made it easy to get a cup of tea without using the microwave. All nice things if you are the first one up and don't want to wake everyone! The kitchen was well stocked with some basic supplies (salt, pepper, olive oil, etc) which reduced trips to the store. There were nice parking options, including space for 2 cars inside the garage, 2 in the outside driveway, and space for another car a short walk away. The beach was an easy walk away. There was a wagon available and we loaded our equipement and popped down there quickly. Because cars are not allowed on the beach there were less people there, which was nice. The owner was quick to respond and helped with any issues that came up. She provided many nice touches to personalize our stay which was nice. She was fast at communicating when we had questions. The ideal configuration would be 8 adults and 4 children due to the bunk beds/trundle bed, but if some adults don't mind sleeping in bunk bed or trundle it still works. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would book this location again!

We loved the many covered decks on the East and West sides of the house so no matter the time of day we loved sitting outside. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for meal prep and baking. Comfortable and relaxing. Perfect location.

Property says 6 bedrooms but one is two small bunk beds in what looked like was a Closet. One BR is a daybed in an open area so no door. Place was great, near the Beach with all you needed for the stay and Beach visits. Cleaning issues brought to owner/ hostess attention and certain those will be addressed. Owners very accommodating to our requests.
