We had a fantastic time at this beautiful cabin. It was close enough to town and different activities in the area. The view was amazing from the back deck. I don’t think it would be comfortable with more than 2 and maybe 2 small kids.

My husband and I visited A'Corny Cabin to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was just what we wanted. The hot tub for two was clean and worked perfectly. The bed was large and comfortable. We found a good selection of games for two players in the hidden living room compartment "fireplace." The cabin is minutes away from all Lake Lure attractions. The view is forest, and although there are other houses nearby, we did not see or hear other people in the area during our times in the cabin, so the privacy was top notch.
If you stay here, you will want to cook very simple meals, either on the gas grill or on the stove top. The oven temp was not calibrated properly (ran hot by at least 25 degrees), so both items I cooked came out mildly burnt. However, we had good luck sauteeing in the small fry pans. The fridge was also very small, only large enough for two standard takeout containers plus bottled water in the door.
Overall,I would recommend the cabin for two people, especially if you plan to have most of your meals out. The privacy and comfort were excellent.

The location was perfect. The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The trash bin outside of the cabin was located right beside where tenants park. On the first night, a bear tore into the trash and dented and scratched my car. The property management company, exclusivemountainproperties neglected to remove the trash from the previous Tenants then blamed it on illegal dumping. I almost bought it except I found a review on Facebook and online that the something similar happened to the tenant a week before me. The trash bin is unsecured and needs to be at the end of the driveway. The manager/ owner Melissa was rude and argued with me, never apologized. In a customer service industry, this was a horrible experience. Please get you trash cans secured and emptied before someone gets hurt. I was refunded 1 nights stay but fixing my car will be far more expensive.

Love the place, very clean, very nice stay. There was only one garbage bag provided though, and we arrived to a mess of garbage as a bear must have recently gotten into it (bear proof can would be a great idea) and so we had to go to the store to get more in order to have a place for the rest of our trash after cleaning it up/using the bag provided. Also the kitchen could be much better equipped for cooking. There wasn't a cutting board (maybe we missed it?). Overall, very easy things to fix to make this place excellent!

The cabin is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We really enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the bedroom. The cabin is very close to Hwy 64 which makes getting around easy but in exchange there is quite a bit of traffic noise. The traffic noise is the only thing that made me give the “location and neighborhood” 3 start. Also, the steps really need a handrail. The walkway from the steps to the front door are perfectly adequate but the steps are a little steep. A little bit of something to hang onto would be helpful.

Overall, nice cabin. Back deck had a few boards that felt spongy when stepped on. Fridge/freezer stank, couldn't put any food in them. Tub had a white substance in it, ran water but didn't get in, water was milky with what looked like calcium from the jets. I really wanted to use it, was main reason I picked this cabin. Bed was amazing.

We visited A'Corny Cabin in between Christmas and New Years, and it was the perfect getaway for a couple of days of relaxation that we needed. We were able to visit local wineries and take in the charm of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Village. The cabin was adorable and great for the two of us. We would recommend it to anyone passing through the area and for those that just need to take a break from their current surroundings and in need of a little mountain time.

We planned a long weekend for a fall color getaway. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was a comfortable place to land after a busy day. Close to kayaking or boating on Lake Lure or hiking up Chimney Rock, we enjoyed the quiet view from the deck as the sun rose. Carefully stocked with necessary kitchen items if you wish to prepare a light meal or snack. Communication was excellent in advance. Check it out!

My wife and I absolutely loved this property. The cabin was so comfortable and we felt so relaxed and at home. Large, comfortable sleep number bed. Very clean. Loved the large jetted tub. We most certainly will book this property again. Cannot recommend it enough!

I asked my precious girlfriend to be my wife and she said yes!! I am blessed Thank you. Property Very well maintained (staff is excellent) and set up fully. We will be back very soon. the decoration and design of the cabin has nothing to be desired except a designated fire pit hint hint .. def not a deal breaker. We both love the cabin even down to the light switch covers.. outdoor lights are a great vibe. Gorgeous property..Loved the price too. Thanks again. Will refer you to anyone.

The property is conveniently located and private. We enjoyed the secluded back deck. It had everything we needed. The only reason we would not return is b/c my husband had a really hard time with the steps from the driveway to the house path, as there is no railing.

The cabin was wonderful! We arrived after dark and the lights were on in the house for us and had a beautiful walkway to the cabin. The inside was clean and perfect for the 2 of us for the weekend. The back porch was even better with a small grill and table to sit at. We had all of our meals out on the back deck. I would 100% recommend this cabin to family and friends!

We stayed here 5 days and had a good time. Very quiet. Check-in and out was easy. Fridge was small (think dorm room) so grocery storage was a challenge but we made it work. A Keurig would have been nice; the old school coffee maker was made of plastic and didn't fit together/work well. Otherwise the kitchen was great-able to fix our own meals when we wanted, with ease. Roomy shower. Sleep Number bed. Separate HVAC for bedroom and living room. Awesome 3D Smart TV! Location is near the lake but no lake view. Back deck overlooks woods (nice) and beyond that, some homes on the road below.

Very nice and comfortable. Everything that was listed was provided. Bed was super comfy. I would add a coat rack and some hangers. Close to restaurants and a Trip to Asheville or Hendersonville. It was a very nice stay I would book it again.

This place is amazing, exactly what we needed! Really easy road to get up. It’s a little steep, but it was nothing our ford fiesta couldn’t handle. Love the area. The house was great and very clean! Love that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils to use.

Our stay was just for a couple nights. The place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Quiet street and just a couple minutes from the center of lake lure. (Obviously the off season, so just about everything was closed but one or two places to eat.). We had no issues checking in and did not need management for anything after initial information. Would recommend.

Perfect location and cabin for fun and relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Loved the deck and views.
I wish there was more transparency in the listing with the sleeping arrangements. The cabin said slept 12 but there was 2 kings, 2 queens, and a full size bunk bed on bottom with twin up top. Neither couches were sleeper sofas and the loft room had zero privacy.
Also none of the beds were comfortable, and couches were quite old. But overall had a lovely stay and great value for the location.

Morning Melissa, we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that we didn't like is the steepness of the walk way-of course the cabin is on a hill as are most others, being in the mountains, however we were thinking it would be really nice if there was a sturdy railing on the left side as you are going down. Granted, we are older but seems like a sensible suggestion. Thanks for the opportunity to stay there and if we come up again, we'll call you! Have a great week!

The cabin is nicely equipped and located centrally to almost everything the area has to offer!
I would note that someone needs to spend a little time regarding the poison ivy growing so close to the steps and the deck around the house outside. If someone accidentally touched it would make for an unpleasant trip.

The only complaint I have is the canopy over the walkway needs trimming.
