Beautiful, large room with excellent cooking facilities. Access to a lovely garden all within walking distance of the centre of the town & gorgeous Loire river. The host was fantastic & provided us with delicious home-baked bread & cake. We only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. Excellent off street parking too.

A lovely large apartment and a lovely host. A delightful evening meal, washing and easy charging of electric bikes. Highly recommend this to anyone cycling the Loire.

Spacious and well equipped guesthouse in nice town of Gien. Walking distance to centre. Lovely sweet and very welcoming owner. Speaks only French. Nice home made breakfast.

We liked the apartment: clean, comfortable, it has everything needed. We also liked the space outside: we could use the garden to relax and eat. The breakfast was good. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Marie Madeleine was so kind host. Everything was great, the breakfasts were wonderful for vegans, fruits, homemade bread (my favorite was the banana with nuts), jams, cereals, almond and soy milk. Thank you so much for making me feel at home.

Marie Madeleine is a fantastic host and from the first minute you feel welcome in her new renovated beautiful barn. You have your own terrace, a well equiped kitchen a large living/bedroom and a very big bathroom. The barn has beautiful art on the walls and ceiling and with a lot of love and expertise it is converted into a studio. She brings you fresh home made bread for the next morning, there is a variety of home made jam. Juice and wayer in the fridge. And as a bonus a warm jacuzzi waiting for us 💝

The accommodation was brand new so a few things were missing like a table for your luggage but before we left town the next day she already made those changes. We wish her a lot of succes and a lot of happy customers.
