the location was nice. nice and quiet terrace with a great view on the sea. air conditioning was good to have.

a few things there. up to you to consider it the way you feel. you have to climb three different stairs and then walk 20m to get to the terrace from the kitchen. don’t expect to eat there every day! the mezzanine room is horribly hot in the summer no air co there. the other room has air conditioning but it cannot be switched on when the one down in the living room is running. The host confirmed only one at a time can run. This is unbelievable in this area. We had no internet over the whole stay and no TV either. The host had not fixed this in a week. He argued that he never received our ID copies which I had sent several times in multiple ways -pdf files and photos. Of course we were not in Cinque Terre to watch TV, still when you pay that rate a week you deserve proper service. Finally we had to clean the floor when we got in as it was full of dust. We also found panties in the bathroom just behind the washing machine. Which shows that this appartement was not really cleaned up well before our stay.

location is in the midst of corniglia, one of the 5 villages on cinque terre. the view from the gardenw as good

we had a very bad experience as the apartment was not as per our expectations.. we paid highest money on this apartment during the complete trip and we didn’t get a good service. The basic necessity of power was not fulfilled, when we switched on the heating everytime, the power was gone, first time in the middle of night when our son woke up crying as he was sleeping alone, then we checked and the mcb trip off had happened sp we solved it. the 2nd time again in the morning and this time no mcb trip off, so we called the owner who continuously disconnected our calls. so we had to leave the apartment without getting a bath. when finally we were able to reach the owner he said he cannot come to the apartment and we will have to go back to the apartment and get this sorted as he instructed us the way to get the power. the whole night next say we stayed in cold fearing that power would go off. even the balcony door was very tight and the owner’s response was that he will get that sorted before our departure, which doesn’t help as we had booked the apartment because of the balcony view. so we had to really push the owner to get that sorted asap, which finally got sorted. we wouldn’t suggest this apartment to anyone as the hospitality industry is all about service and if that is not good enough, the place is not worth it.

The garden was nice- it’s Shared with a nice couple with a rabbit. The house was comfortable, I am traveling with 2 kids so it was nice to have 2 bathrooms! It was good to have a washing machine whilst we are hiking between all the towns. The location was awesome! We could contact the owner very quickly and easily.

Some things weren’t very clean, the kitchen table, and table runner, the Dirty cleaning cloths were in the washing machine, the kitchen had used cleaning cloth from the previous guests. The cleaning buckets were left in the way in the downstairs bathroom. These things aren’t so bad but in corona times I expected It to be a bit cleaner. The door to the garden was hard to open.
