Cabin has no AC, and house fan is not enough to cool the cabin. We went on hikes and trails and when we can back the cabin felt like an oven all evening through the night.

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at this property. The check in process was seamless and we arrived to a bottle of wine and two Dogwood Peak hats on the kitchen table. Our kids (7 & 9) wore them all week! Jamie’s recommendations were spot on - we enjoyed the small town’s restaurants, experienced an amazing trail ride with Shaver Stables, spent a day on the lake with a boat/tubing rental thru the marina, explored McKinley Grove and Dinkey Creek and enjoyed swimming in Shaver Lake. The property was perfect for the 4 of us and very clean. Also, the temps rose while we were there and Jamie reached out to us letting us know that the owner decided to provide a portable AC unit. That was a nice surprise! We can’t wait to go back next summer!! Thanks for being a fab host Jamie!

We chose to go away last minute and really lucked out with this cozy space. They were mindful of the little things and really made us feel at home.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Beautifully equipped and very warm and cosy after a day on the hill. Located very close to Shaver so easy to go out for meals/takeout. Jamie, the host, sent out useful tips beforehand and there’s a great info folder in the cabin itself.

Had everything we wanted. Nicely appointed. Had an absolutely wonderful weekend with our kids.

Such a cute place! Well taken care of and felt just like home. I would definitely love to stay here again!
