The breakfast was not something outstanding for a vegan person but the dinner was really good, tasty and surprising. We went there because it was vegan friendly. The location on the lake is really good.

Swimming pool is not in the same building and you need to walk for a minute to get there. Unfortunately it was a shower and not a bath in the bathroom and the bathroom is not well isolated within the room.

Beautiful hotel great breakfast and lovely spa and setting. Great scheme for getting from the train station and back using the shuttle service. Lovely boat round the lake too

The spa by the lake is amazing and the (organic vegetarian/vegan) restaurant alone is worth a trip.

I didn't expect to even have vegan cheese for breakfast, but I was very impressed by the very wide selection of vegan options for breakfast and dinner.

The pool was closed for renovations during our stay, perhaps it would have been good to have this communicated beforehand.

The location is truly amazing.

The staff was sort of arrogant at our arrival. It really depended on the person. Some were very nice but some were not. The ambiance in the hotel was a bit surprising: We had the feeling we were at some spiritual retreat or something. Not our style, but anyhow.

The three course vegetarian dinners were fantastic; with fresh ingredients, imaginative and creative dishes, and a good wine and drinks menu to accompany the food. Although we are not vegetarian, we really enjoyed the food (also the breakfasts, which were wonderful despite COVID restrictions) and would recommend this hotel highly to vegetarians and vegans. We also liked the location of the hotel, just at the beginning of the "Kurzone" where there is very little road traffic. The room was pleasant and clean. Some of the staff were fantastic as well.

Service was uneven. Some staff were fantastic, others were inattentive or outright rude. On two out of the four occasions we had dinner in the hotel, we waited for a long time to be served; once we complained after 20 minutes and learned that the couple next to us had been waiting for 40 minutes (in contrast to us, they were too polite to complain). When we visited, the weather was cold and rainy; we knew this to be a risk and had deliberately chosen a hotel with an inside swimming pool. We weren't pleased to learn, upon arrival, that the pool was being refurbished - we would have considered it good practice to inform guests about this beforehand.
