We arrive and they were still cleaning. No problem we waited outside and explored the property. The first thing we saw was a garage that was very dirty and not organized. We went to the left of the house where there was a grill and other things that looked like they needed to go to the dump. We walked around to the back to check it out. The view was beautiful. That was the only good thing on that property. All the outside furniture was so dirty. I would not sit in it. Other people used towels. There was wooden poles around the property to hold on to for safety purposes. Some of them were rotted and a safety hazard. There is a great space off the house which I would call a sun room. The windows were very dirty and loaded with bugs. The slider going outside was so dirty it was very difficult to open. The furniture in this room was not dusted or wiped down. The sofa was all ripped and they covered it with a blanket. The tables in there must to 30 plus years old. They look it. Took a chair from the dining table very wobbly. Thought I would land on the floor. The living room furniture was all cracked. The chair had a rip in the corner. The end tables not clean. My husband said the freezer in the garage was disgusting. I had the smaller bedroom with the air conditioner in properly set out the window. I had to crawl over the bed to turn the light on. The bureau in that room was all stained. The wood was peeling. It was not very secure.

Brian was a wonderful host! His communication was quick and he provided answers to any questions I had. The house was fantastic and the yard was fenced in which was excellent for the dog! He loved being able to get in and out of the water from the rock as well! We loved the different levels of the yard. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards! There was also a canoe but we didn't have the need for that. The lake was calm and we were able to paddle around the bend to spot the large eagles nest and to see one of the eagles! The outdoor firepit was a hit one of the nights we were there. Unfortunately, we did have some rain but there was nothing better than the sunrise over the lake in the early morning, sitting out on the big rock with a cup of coffee! This was the relaxation that we desperately needed! We did visit a local brewery but for the most part we cooked at the house (except for one pizza take out night). Perfect spot for a weekend get away! Lake was clean and quiet, host provided everything needed and more!

I was looking for something special to do to celebrate my 30th birthday with family and friends, that’s when I stumbled upon this lake house. The location, views, outdoor space, and the house itself exceeded all of our expectations. The town of Franklin, NH is quaint, but has everything you need within a few miles (grocery, gas, coffee, breweries, food, etc.). We chose this spot specifically because we love to fish, and let me tell you, plenty of fish were caught! We caught perch, trout, and bass. We had an absolute blast kayaking, fishing from the dock/rocks, enjoying margaritas at the tiki bar, playing games in the Florida room, playing ping-pong downstairs, and sitting by the solo stove at night. The host was extremely responsive, helpful, and accommodating. He added to our experience by making sure our questions were always answered. Highly recommend staying here and I will be back!

My family enjoyed our stay here over the Easter weekend. Although it was cold outside, the views of the lake were stunning and the warmth of the inside fireplace made the home very warm and cozy. The beds were also very comfortable. The North Rail Trail is very close to the home and great for a scenic, easy walk. There are also some nice microbreweries close by to sample different beers and sit down for some lunch or dinner. Although we could only get in some fishing, it would be nice to come back during the summer months when we could enjoy more lake activities just steps outside the home. Brian was also very communicative and accommodating which we appreciated.

Stay here for a few nights during our daughter’s family weekend at Proctor. It is 12 min from campus and worked well for what we needed. Stunning view to wake up to!

Wow. This place is incredible! I booked this spot for a relaxing few days with my mom, aunt, and cousin and this place was perfect. The house is lovely, it was clean and tidy and had all the amenities we needed - and the some. The lakefront was amazing and the property was the perfect vacation spot for us. The house was easy to get to, and the hosts were great communicators. I wish we could’ve spent more time here! Thanks for the great stay!

The view you get from this wonderful dog-friendly home was unbeatable! Close to Franklin and Tilton; friendly restaurants and brews!
