Really enjoyed our time

Just what we were looking for. Access to lake, great view, lovely atmosphere and thoughtful host. Enjoyed our stay very much! Beds were very comfortable and plenty of hot water fast.

House was exactly what we needed.

Awesome place to visit. The views are really nice. The house is very well-appointed with very nice upgrades. Beautiful kitchen. Wonderful hiking opportunities nearby. The walk around the lake is really nice. Host was very supportive, friendly, and responsive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moonlit HIdeaway. The house had a beautiful view of the lake from the big windows and the large deck . It was very nice and had lots of extra amenities provided .

We were very pleased with the house and our experience. The house was very clean, updated, and had perfect amount of space for our family of 6, including 4 older kids (all older than 13). We had great views from the large deck. We greatly appreciated the direct lake access, which is not common for Beaver Lake. We made great use of the kayaks and "lily pad", which made the lake more enjoyable. We also set up a canopy and beach chairs. I want to address some previous comments about the walk to lake: Yes, it's a steep walk and I certainly wouldn't recommend for elderly guests or those who have trouble with moderate physical activity. However, we managed to haul our gear, coolers, etc. up and down 4 of the 6 days we were there. You have to keep in mind that this is the Ozarks, so there is not a lot of flat terrain anywhere around any lake in Southern MO or Northern AR. You need to have realistic expectations. Our neighbors also joined us on the beach and kayaks a few days and didn't struggle with the walk. The driveway is steep (again, it's the Ozarks and we're used to this with rental properties). But, after the first time, I had no trouble getting up and down in our mid-size SUV, even in the rain. Finally, Beaver Lake is amazing. If you don't have a boat, I recommend renting one from nearby Prairie Creek Marina. We also visited Hobbs State Park (great trails), Eureka Springs, & Crystal Bridges museum. We highly recommend this property and will consider this again.

We had a wonderful time in this spacious home. We had enough space to enjoy family time without feeling on top of each other. The house was well stocked and is a beautiful location! The only negative is the steep climb down to the lake.

We booked our stay back in February. This was our summer vacation. We booked the property because of the view and walk down to the lake access. The view was mostly covered by trees however one whole tree fell during the storm which never got removed in our 7 day stay even though we told the property owner the morning it happened. The description of the property is not truthful or accurate. The driveway is said to be “intimidating” but it is straight down and a blind turn. We only made it because we have a front facing camera on our truck! After it rained, I needed 4 wheel drive to get back up the driveway. The property description states the walk down to the lake has stairs and is gradual. That is untrue, the stairs are not regular stairs, each one is a large step down with NO railing. Then you get to the end of the stairs and there is no lake, the ownership provides an aluminum ladder for you to climb down. The ladder is NOT secured to anything, it is wedged under part of a dead fallen tree. Now, they expect your whole family to go down this terrible ladder while holding your towels, chairs, fishing equipment, oh and the kayaks!!! Impossible and entirely unsafe! Now if you make it down there with your kids and elderly parents, you now have to climb back up this terrible track to get back up to the house! IF YOU WANT LAKE ACCESS DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!! IF YOU DON’T HAVE 4x4 DO NOT USE THE DRIVEWAY!!

Fun place with lake activity. Great space for teens!

Property was beautiful and peaceful! We came towards the end of winter, and would love to stay again in the summer or fall. Plenty of space to stretch out. Property owner graciously included many amenities I haven’t seen and other VRBO properties. Little touches like first aid kits, Dish soap and laundry soap were included. Extra toiletries as well. You can tell they really try to think of everything!

Great house for a family with beautiful lake views. Well equipped kitchen with lots of nice extras like some kitchen basics (spices and cooking oil), cleaning supplies, and even an emergency stash of travel toiletries in case something was forgotten. Our family loved the lower level game room with dartboard.

Great place. Literally everything you need except your own food and clothing. Definitely will come back in the future

My 3 adult daughters and I needed a fall getaway. This lakeside home was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We went antique, thrift store, and used bookstore shopping. We worked a 1000 piece puzzle on the large dining room table. We watched the deer graze and the sun rising on the beautiful lake. We cooked dinner in the well- stocked kitchen each evening. Beautiful home and gracious owners.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the house. It was quiet and peaceful. The proximity to Rogers and Eureka Springs was ideal. There were two couples in our party. The house has a mini kitchen downstairs and a full kitchen upstairs. The separation provided privacy in the mornings. We recommend this house to others.

Great house, fully equipped, very comfortable. Nice to have access to use kayaks and lilypad. No dock but could still access the water. Host was very responsive.

Wonderful place to stay.

The house is very well equipped for entertaining with basically a kitchen and bathrooms on both floors it’s easy to relax, even with multiple families. The only suggestion I would have is an extra baby gate for the stairs.

It was an easy and convenient location to get to and from the places that we wanted to go to. The house was nice and accommodated all of our needs. The host was easy to communicate with and was prompt with responses. Overall enjoyable stay!

We had a great stay! Our kids loved the toys available. We had plenty of room. Lots of stuff to use for the lake. The access to the lake was more difficult than expected but still doable. Would return.

This was a great space to reconnect with friends! Our five year-old loved the play kitchen we could pull out in to the living room. It was so easy to connect with the owners about any questions or concerns we had.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The house was everything that was promised on the website. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunrise over the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beaver Shores. It was perfect for our family. Lots of games and toys for our little ones. The owner was very courteous and gave us information for our stay promptly. She even checked in on us during our stay when she heard their was a power outage. I would definitely recommend Beaver Shores for your stay!

Our family had a wonderful time at this house perched above Beaver Lake. House with giant arched windows was awesome especially in morning and evening for shimmering water and twilight. Spacious and the lake much closer than I expected, as someone who has stayed elsewhere along Beaver Lake. Caught fish, kayaked, hung on patio and overall basked in the glow of lakedom. Manager very helpful with questions also. Better than photos
