Der Manager war äußerst freundlich. Er hat uns bei Fragen geholfen und uns viel empfohlen. Unser Bus nach Arsusha ging sehr früh und wir haben dafür eine kleine Lunchtütte erhalten mit Früchten, Toast und Eiern. Sehr sehr nett von ihm.

Room was spacious and all the facilities worked. Quiet location and convenient for public transport. Breakfast of fruit then eggs and bread/butter/jam with hot water for tea/coffee, promptly served.

Everything was really nice. The hostel was easy to find, thanks for the big sign at the street entrance! The breakfast was good and the host was super helpful.

When we arrive they told us that due to an unforeseen they did not have availability for us for the first night (someone had an acidente the day before so they had to stay an extra night) but found us another option nearby for the first night (worst and more expensive place)

The overbooked, but they helped me finding a really good place, for a good rate!

I booked twice in total, and the check-in experience was very poor. The manager was a racist. He treated guests differently and had a bad service attitude. He booked a room but said that there was no room!

Amazing staff and excellent breakfast. Clean and tidy rooms. Good WiFi. 5-8 km to shekilonga( bus station for onwards journeys) and city center. Boda boda is available just outside the hostel. Laundry service available too

A bit far from the city

I was truly impressed by the attitude of the staff, very polite and helpful. I really enjoyed the hospitality right from booking, to the security personnel upon arrival, at the reception when checking in, during our entire stay,and finally during checkout. Thank you very much.

Well, we were only bothered by flies especially where we were having our breakfast in the morning 😞😞😞😞. Kindly check on that.

Breakfast is really good, dorms are spacious with big lockers to secure all your staff. Location is pretty good as well in a safe neighborhood. Personal kind and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and kind while we stayed there for two nights. The room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was tasty and the area is very safe to stay and easy accessible to the city centre and to the airport. 200m from the guesthouse you have a tasty Baby Ally restaurant, with tasty food. And when we needed to leave early morning, they prepared a Lunch Box. highly recommend it!

Nice place with working wifi (most of the time), good AC and fans in the room, receptionist nice and helpful. Slept in a room with 7 other people, it was my first time sleeping a travellers dormatory but it went well. Heads up to girls travelling alone like me, guys will hit on you- like constantly and it can get quite awkward and uncomfortable especially if u stay in the same room as them. Other than that and the fact that I only slept one night there, it went well, felt safe and comfortable.

No handwash provided to wash hands, don't know why but the location is not on Bolt so it's a bit annoying when you need to return to the place

I have visited before and they remembered me. Two bed room very clean and comfortable. A quiet area so a good sleep. Breakfast of plate of fruit, choice of eggs, break/butter/jam coffee and tea all promptly provided.

No mosquitos in room so did not need the net but did notice a few holes in it which should be fixed for next guests.

1.For dormitory, I advise to put at least two chairs inside, when someone, who is stay in upper berth, want to change shoes, without a chair, need to sit on the ground. For me, I think sit on others bed is impolite. 2.I advise to buy a curtain to cover the window nearby the toilet, or not someone like me will disturb when sleeping. When others go to washroom in the late evening, the light is very bright and will wake you up. To be honest, I wake up several times during evening because everyone like to turn on the light. 3.It is better to make a slope or something on upper berth in order to protect the client, in case they fall down from the bed. 4.Breakfast provides hot water, but Insulated kettle is not enough, so need to wait for other finish using and then use. If can provide hot drinking water all the time would be great.

It was an enjoyable and wonderful stay. The place is clean and the staff performs their duties to the 100%. They made me feel at home. Thank you L&J Backpackers.

Quiet and calm place, big rooms and enough ventilation unlike other B&Bs in Dar and very flexible staff.

internet is not stable , I didn’t manage to make calls because it was on and off every 2 minutes
