This was our first vrbo experience. Beautiful property and view. However when you pull up to the house it looks a bit unkept. And also several other cars parked in the yard. The upstairs was fairly clean, just really looks like 1989 still. Surprised to see the fridge was half full and even some insulin medication in there. The house almost appears as if someone lives there full time and just moved out so we could stay there. Then come to find out that the 2 bathrooms dont have any locking doors. Another thing to note was the only tv was in a bedroom? The deck outside is an absolute liability. The railing is loose and wobbly. Little unnerving when its 20' above ground. Patio furniture is ripped and torn. The dock is nice, but kinda a trek to go up and down it. The thing that really made us feel uncomfortable was that every day we were there were different cars and truck coming and going parking at the house and using the utv to go up and down the hill and to use their boat. Really didn't like the sounds of trucks parking and utvs running early morning right next to the house. I was really expecting privacy and we didn't get that at all. Pretty disappointed with my vrbo experience at this property.

Beautiful home on the lake with easy access to the little town of Bayview. We so enjoyed the home. We made dinner and smores on the deck while enjoying the beautiful view. We enjoyed kayaking and taking out the jet ski. Great place and we will be back!

This place is great for a quiet weekend away… large home with lots of interior space, great deck, lovely little rocky beach and fire pit. The kitchen is really well stocked—almost as if you are borrowing the home from a relative! It would be great to have some paddle boards or kayaks to explore the lake a little, but overall a great place!

Wonderful location with great hosts

This is a great home on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. Kayla was a very prompt host and took care of our needs. The trek down to the water is a bit rough with the steep grade, but we enjoyed this place and would consider it for future stays.

Overall, we really felt at home! A few suggestions would be to fill up the propane tanks for the bbq and maybe build a few steps down to the beach and add a ladder to the dock for swimming. Great views, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, good location!

This is our second year in a row coming to Bayview as an annual family vacation. Our main purpose was for Silverwood. This home is a perfect location for any of your needs in the area. It was so spacious for the 4 of us and located with a few minutes of Silverwood. A very homely feeling with a country/cabin vibe. Lost of features that were enjoyed; deck with amazing view, hot tub, large sleeping area, media style TV (for the kids), large eating area for us all to enjoy. Easy access to home and smooth entry to property. Amazing host and will look again to stay here in the future it available. Thank you again!!

It was beautiful and relaxing. The house had everything and more than we needed and was very comfortable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Very easy to get to Silverwood for the day. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely want to stay again.

This is the best VRBO or ABNB experience we've had. The property was fantastic just as described. The lake was beautiful. Kayla and Kyle were fantastic. Kayla was amazingly responsive, generous and helpful during our stay. To cap it off, we had mechanical problems when we were leaving town for a 6 hour drive and Kyle took several hours out of his Sunday to help us out. We'll be coming back.

Silverwood was really close by! Beautiful setting! Great dock to play off of! Weather was awesome! Hopefully be back someday!

We enjoyed our short stay on the lake. We had to cut short unfortunately, but where happy about the location.

I booked this home for my birthday and 4th of July weekend and had the BEST time ever. My 8 year old twins loved exploring the property, hanging in the hot tub, fishing from the dock, swimming in the "rock pool" and making s'mores over the fire pit. Kayla was an absolutely amazing host and made us feel very comfortable and confident with every detail I inquired about. We brought the boat and kept it at the dock - despite one unexpected storm, it worked out perfectly. The home has everything you need and we kept finding ourselves more than satisfied whenever we would look for an item and discover it conveniently placed whether it was kitchen utensils or extra blankets. Everything was clean and welcoming - the kids and I called it "our paradise" and found it very difficult to leave. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you, Kayla and Carl!!

Had a wonderful view to wake up to every morning. Wrap around deck is amazing. The living areas are spacious & loved it so much we will hopefully be able to to bring my in-laws in the future! We were able to pay to moor our boat there but the dock is a bit of a hike uphill at the end of a long day on the water. Loved the convenience of having the boat launch close enough to drive back to the house with the trailer. The town is fun & friendly! Epic vacation! Would definitely stay here again!

What I liked most was the location and the surroundings. The check-in and Check-out process was hassle free. The house interiors were decent however a bit dusty. The toilet got clogged once. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5.

Very beautiful house with gorgeous lakefront location.We found it fully equipped with all you would need. There is an office downstairs during the work week but we didn't hear a peep from anyone and I believe it is just one person who comes in(?). What was a bit uncomfortable is that you feel like you are in someone's house who usually lives there but left only because they rented it to you. Why? Their clothes/belongings are in the drawers and closets. First time we've ever encountered that. Also the only TV is in the master bedroom with two very comfy chairs but anyone else interested in watching would have to lie on the bed. We still had a lovely time, so thank you for sharing your residence.

Great house with an amazing lake view and surrounding.

This lakefront home is within 20 minutes of Silverwood and a great place to stay while visiting the waterpark park and other activities in the Bayview area. It was clean, had a big kitchen and dining area, and everything suited our needs well. The view of the lake from the wrap around deck is terrific, the hanging outdoor lounge chair was a hit, the accommodations are quite large and there is plenty of parking. Thanks for sharing your property with our family, we hope to be back!

Before moving to Southern California to teach, I spent my summers at our family cabin in Garfield Bay on Lake Pend Orielle. We have since sold it, but Lake Pend Orielle has always had a special place in my heart. When my daughter, her family, and I decided to rent a place this summer, my niece suggested this property, and we couldn't have been happier. The property was very clean and stocked with everything one would need on vacation. The only thing we needed to buy was food. The refrigerator had a plethora of condiments as did the cupboards which were full of a variety of spices so take inventory before you grocery shop. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a Keurig coffee pot, an Instant pot and all kinds of cookware. If you like pizza, the general store in Bayview has delicious ones. We had several great dinners at the Lakeside Restaurant. The property is about a five-minute drive from the resort so was quiet and private - just what we were looking for! A family of deer and a flock of wild turkeys were frequent visitors to our place. We didn't have a boat, but our grandchildren and son enjoyed the dock for fishing, swimming, and diving. Kayla is a wonderful host and answered any questions we had almost immediately. When the air conditioner stopped working Sunday evening, she arranged for someone to come out the very next day. The only thing I might suggest is to have a TV in the living room as the one here is in the master bedroom with seating for only two people. Not having a TV in the living room was a non-issue for us, though, as we were there for the panoramic view of the lake and mountains, swimming, enjoying nature, and playing games as a family in the evening. All-in-all, this is a great place to rent with a great host that genuinely cares about making this place one that is enjoyed by all.

The good: the view of the lake from the property. The bad: everything else! This property appears to be a full time home for the owner and when it is rented he stays in the lower part of the house in a dingy scary looking apartment. This proprrty was filthy, there was mold, dirt caked in corners, the owner had his personal.belongings everywhere, their were dirty dishes in the sink, and overall it appeaers the houses interior was last updated in the 1960s. In summation, we couldnt wait to leave. Rent at your own risk!

Beautiful property located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Lots of wildlife walking on and around the property. Having our own dock was amazing!!

It was Amazing we had the best vacation. Loved having our own private swim area. House is lovely beautiful view of lake. We definitely would love to come again. Kayla was wonderful!

This was a perfect place for us and our kids to stay while we were in the area for Silverwood Theme Park. There was an amazing view of the lake and the swim hole was nice to have on such hot days as an option (although we didn’t use it because we were there for just the theme park). Communication was easy and pleasant with the owner. It was also nice that both rooms were so big so we could fit our toddlers play pin in the spare room with us and our other 3 kids shared the king in the master bedroom. Not only were there kids/baby kitchen necessities nice to have, the owner put up a baby gate for our toddler at the top of the stairs before our arrival. The only things I would change were the beautiful barn style door to the master bath being able to lock or latch in some way, our toddler liked to swing it open so privacy for ourselves and other children was nonexistent. The other bathroom was great to have as a second toilet available but the shower was too small and even though we didn’t use it, the floor in front of it was soaked. We ended up all using the one master bathroom most the time other than brushing our teeth or changing. Also, although the house was overall clean and cozy, after unpacking our food some ants showed up in the kitchen. I found windex to kill them on the spot and after making sure my children kept up on cleaning up after themselves they didn’t reappear again. Another thing is the only tv was in the master bedroom so when watching Netflix while waiting on our laundry, it kept my teenager awake, it would have been great to have my “mommy me time” doing laundry in another room, without keeping anyone else awake. Lastly, two guys walked in the house looking for someone, we didn’t know who or where we just told them we were here for the air b & b, because they didn’t know where to go they walked all along the side patio, back porch, and other doors looking for the person. I know they didn’t know any better but it freaked our kids out a bit. I’d recommend this place for a nice getaway and good for sleeping quarters if you plan to spend most the days out like we did. The view was our favorite part of the entire place!

This our first time booking with Verbo. We had such a wonderful experience! We all fell in love with Bayview and the lake house. We will definitely be coming back. Our host treated us like family.
