The unit was fantastic. However, the TV/Streaming service was not “recognized” by the provider. I called Vacasa concerning this and the woman that answered offered me the number of the provider for me to call and talk with the technician. I responded that I was the one on vacation and I had already paid for the unit and services. It was not my job to converse with the technician. Anyone that has dealt with something like this knows it can take hours. We did have WiFi through the same router and equipment so it wasn’t a weather outage issue. Six hours later, I called the provider number and he said he saw the ticket but that the local service would need to intervene and he promised to get on it. Pull the recordings. We arrived 11/10 and left this morning, 11/14. We had zero days of TV streaming, and 2 days of no beach/ fishing due to weather. I believe some monetary compensation is in order. Also, directions on TV/Streaming equipment should be provided for DYI trouble shooting.There was none.

This place was quite, close to the beach with a lighthouse view. The house was clean and ready to go! Will definitely be going back!!

This is the ideal vacation condo. It has minimum but sufficient amount of furniture (so not clutter). Very spacious. Just a few steps from the beach. Excellent view. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

This is a no-frills place with a great location near the Hatteras Lighthouse. Clean and quiet.

I would not consider this unit until several items are addressed by the rental agency. I called it dilapidated in my review. There is a hole in the soffit on the right side of the building where cold air freely blows into the attic space. It can be felt in the bedroom. The gutters are falling off or broken completely off. There are tears in the carpet and sand spurs are embedded throughout the carpet in the entire unit. There is a hole in the cover on the cushion of one of the chairs. The other chairs are plastic, outdoor style porch chairs. The kitchen is lacking cutting boards and the pans are in poor shape. The non-stick coatings are flaking off and handles are extremely loose. The burners were filthy and smoked quite a bit when turned on. We also had to re install and element to get the level right. Some cabinet doors are loose or broken. The ceiling above the shower looks as though sludge is dripping from it. If it wasn't for used cleaning gloves and dirty face masks left lying around, we would have considered it as not cleaned prior to arrival. We also found a child's hoodie draped over the back of a chair. Some of the pictures in the advertisement do not reflect the furnishings in the unit. The unit is in dire need of deep cleaning and refurbishment. If immediate attention isn't given to address these issues, this units will be dilapidating quickly.

It was exactly what the pictures showed. The area was good. I wish it was just a little closer to the beach. But it wasn't to far.

Place was super close to the beach and was clean. Lacked a few things that would have made the trip better, such as oven mitts, trash cans in bathrooms/bedrooms, sponge for cleaning and access to a grill. Could not get the ice maker to work either which would have been helpful but overall a great trip!

They were an hour late from when we were told we could check in and couldn’t get the internet to work but nice house and enjoyed our stay
