The facilities were exceptional, the place was just amazing. We enjoyed the place n facilities... The staff Francis n Aisha were very available, cooperative, and very helpful. You want to work with them again.

The beach is very dirty in comparison to the neighbouring hotels. Could you find a way of clearing the leaves there? We feel like cleaning would make this place more heavenly with white sandy beaches.

The saltwater pool and outdoor furniture was amazing. Great location right on the beach. Francis was very accommodating. A very quiet and nice place to stay for the week.

Pool filter and water circulation system not working ,therefore not enticing to swim in; parking bay was not available, parked right outside the entrance which was uncomfortable

The view from the room, it's just at the beach. Very beautiful. The pool is so nice. The rooms are quite spacious. The owner is so cool, and the staff are very friendly.

The place is just awesome, everything from the rooms, compound, swimming pool and the beach view. The host Lucio was soo welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back once I am back in malindi.

the excellent view, super gracious host, lovely location, private access to the beach which is a stone throw away. Great bed, many chill-out options. Fridge and microwave available. I will be raving about it to friends.

A/C could be better and a kitchenette would be great.

Staying in White Lion was an amazing experience. - very comfortable accommodation - spacious room - unique view from the balcony - very clean - pool - nice restaurants within walking distance - beachfront - very friendly staff Lucio (the host) even invited us to a real Italian coffee :)

I love the cleanliness, spaciousness of the room and friendliness of Lucio. Lucio was always at hand to offer any help about locations fo interest, restaurants and activities to do while we enjoyed our stay in Malindi at his White Lion residence. White Lion is a great holiday resort located right at the clean beaches of Malindi near other great hotels and a few metres from Malindi International Airport.

The ambience was so great! its serene, no noise. had an option of beach or pool.

No restaurant within the facility. you have to outsource food.

Location. Location. Location. This is in a great location! Top floor of a bungalow on the beach... with the option of even an outdoor bed where you can sleep enjoying the coastal ambience (we slept on the bed on the balcony and this was the highlight of out trip!) The room is spacious and clean, the bathroom is spacious and has most things we needed, bar a few items, however the owner/staff were on hand to be able to graciously and promptly assist us with our requirements!! The location is secure with a safe setting for retiring by then pool or relaxing by the beach - lounges and guards all present.

Nothing to dislike per se. The accommodation is in an abandoned resort complex so upon arrival this may confuse/amuse some people... but once you are past the entrance you are in a secure and maintained environment with beautiful beach view. Parking is outside on the street - so there is a small stress about worrying of your car.

The location is amazing : direct access to the ocean, close from the historical centre of Malindi ( Vaco de Ganna pillar, Portuguese chruch). Then salted water swimming pool is very nic. Bed is very comfortable and from your room you have a view other the Indian ocean...

Some coffee or tea in the room would be nice, some water as well.

The place is good, value for money

The view from our room was insane. Definitely a fantastic location. Right on the beach. The owner is really friendly and helpful too.

It’s called the Happy Site not White Lion so arrival was confusing. There’s no reception so make sure someone is there to meet you. Also it’s definitely self catering so make sure you take your own toilet roll, etc.

Hospitality was amazing, staff on standby to assist on whatever is needed

The closeness to the ocean and the big rooms. The sea view and the pool were fantastic. The people were very friendly.

There is no restaurant within the resort. Also, the room was a bit dusty when we arrived.
