Monica and Manuela are wonderful hosts, who will make you feel at home in their villa. The breakfast is freshly prepared to your wishes, the car parking in the garden is a very big advantage if you arrive by car. The location right outside the Lucca city wall makes exploring the city by foot very easy. Overall an amazing stay in this newly renovated villa, we are definitely coming back!

Monica was excellent. Went out of her v way to help, make phone calls in Italian on our behalf for an emergency. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Location is also very good. 2 minutes walk from the wall entrance.

Driving and directions were hard to find.

Location was perfect, right in front of the city wall. Room was clean and the house has been nicely remodeled. Breakfast was excellent, with a personal touch of the two ladies who are running the B&B. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa La Tuia!

The house is located at a busy street and therefore it's not easy to find at first. However, this was solved quickly after we drove by once more.

beautiful home and appointments overlooking park like setting leading up to main gate of famous wall and old city.much more convenient then trying to stay inside the wall.

The structure is very well equipped and decorated to make guests feel welcome and comfortable, caring about small details. Manuela and Monica know how to make sure that guests are enjoyig their stay and that nothing goes wrong always available for help even though very discreet. The location is great as old city is at walking distance, a big plus is the parking.

We had a very good time (6 nights) at Villa La Tuia! Manuela and Monica were very heartly and attentive hosts!!! The rooms were stylish, very clean and super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and variable. We loved the town of Lucca, which was close to Villa La Tuia, there are many good dining locations and for the region typical shops. You can also visit a lot of different interesting places by car from this B&B. All in all Manuela and Monica made our stay at Lucca unforgettable. We wish them all the best!

Breakfast was superb - the two lovely ladies who run the Villa are exceptional, so friendly and so energetic. Location was fabulous just a 10 minute walk into the centre of the walled city of Lucca

Property was great, the villa is lovely and the decoration/furniture is very stylish! The room was large and the bed is very comfy.

We had a room at the front of the villa facing the road which can be quite loud during the day. Perhaps those worried about noise could request a room at the back of the property.

this is an elegant, well apportioned, beautifully restored a villa in a fabulous location. Monica and Manuela are both very warm, welcoming and helpful.

well it’s a very minor point, but the only thing perhaps not to like about this property is that there is no English television news program
