Beautiful compound which was designed like a little cottage with very thoughtful touches throughout. I loved how from the streets, you can't see into the accommodation which gave it more privacy. As you enter, it opens up to a beautiful courtyard where a lot of care had obviously gone into the design and construction. The room was excellent and exceptionally clean. I have to give it to the service staff who did the housekeeping for everything was super neat and orderly. The bed in particular, was wonderful because there was a woolen blanket tucked underneath which helped with the cold. Somehow, despite the chilly nights in Villa de Leyva, I always felt nice and warm in the room, so credits to the construction again. Staff was also prompt with any requests. The location is excellent. Near enough to the main square but not in the heart of it so it was quieter and calmer. I highly recommend this place as it is super safe, value for money, comfortable, with awesome service.

Nothing really. I didn't have hot water in the bath the first night as the heater was turned on late, but the next day it was resolved.
