Es gab ein Problem- das Türschloss unten ist extrem schwer zu öffnen. Brauchte zweimal Hilfe um reinzukommen

When we arrived at the apartment there were huge amounts of water drippling down the ceiling to the stairwell and we tripped due to the slipperiness of the marble staircase. Inside the room everything was fine BUT on the balcony there was a large stream of water from above, obviously a broken pipe which flooded the balcony increasingly. We contacted the host because we didn't feel safe to stay there during the night due to water through the ceilings and electricity etc, It was a hard damage situation. The first response was "there is no plumber abailable today". It really went downhill when we infirmed the host that we didn't feel safe and want to move to another apartment and to get a refund. Suddenly there was just NO response anymore after responding to other inquiries within minutes. As really beautiful the apartment is I must say the hosts are not handling serious problems and concerns well especially about safety. Thats not what a host should be.

Check out tôt. Impossibilité de laisser ses bagages après le check out. La rue est inaccessible en voiture. Il faut donc transporter les bagages à pied. 15 minutes dans des rues pentues.

Ein Penthouse Apartment ganz oben auf dem Gebäude mit einer sehr großen Terrasse, auf der man über ganz Heraklion schauen konnte. Atemberaubend. Das Apartment war gut eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war sehr sehr gut. Mitten im Center, aber durch die Höhe des Apartment, war es trotzdem ruhig in der Nacht. Wenn dieses Apartment frei ist, ist das wohl der optimale Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr gut über Whatsapp zu erreichen. Anrufen wäre auch möglich. Schlüsselübergabe ohne jegliche Probleme.

Das WIFI war leider sehr langsam...

Beautiful view and perfect location.

Filthy. I didn't mind that the building was old, it's normal in Europe. But as soon as I entered the house I was disappointed because the house was so filthy. Hair on the floor, dust on the table, garbage on the balcony, very old and dirty bathroom. But the worst part was the bed. I found hair everywhere on my bed, even under a pillow. I had the feeling that they didn't even change the sheets after the previous guest. I was so relieved leaving this place. (I used over night ferry arriving to Crete, i slept in the lounge of a ferry and I was happier there. ) The entrance door was never closed, and the building seemed pretty vacant, anyone could come into your floor.

Location was excellent and there’s a lift to the 5th floor, the climb one floor to our room on the 6th. Balconies on both sides with fabulous views of Heraklion. Bed comfy with nice linen.

The bathroom needs renovating. I sent photos and informed the owners at the end of July 2023. Part of the balcony railing collapsed which I saw happen while sitting inside. All the railings need to be checked for rust and deterioration. The ‘hob’ for any cooking you might want to do, was rusted. Trying to use the front door key was difficult and took a few minutes each time to jiggle and turn to make it work.

The location is quite good, really love it

The bathroom is not that clean, but it is ok. Because the location is quite good. But I Hope next time landlord or the hotel company at least have some normal supermarket brand handwas, shampoo and shower gel there, cause it is not that expensive.
