This is an absolutely stunning property. It looks amazing in pictures and it is even more amazing in real life. We traveled with 4 adults (two groups of friends) and one infant. Upon arrival the lights were on in the house and waiting for us. The house and windows looking out were spotless. The pictures online are exactly how it looks. The kitchen in this home is well stocked. Appliances were clean and nothing was broken. There were no strange smells, noises, or things that were needed that were missing from the home. The main living area of the home was comfortable. Everything is geared toward looking at the view, which is why you are there! We caught some of the most amazing sunrises and even a lightning storm. Looking across the river, watching the barges, and catching the sunset are all just amazing from this property. The hot tub here was the cleanest hot tub I had ever seen at a rental home. Bring your suit! The view from the tub is amazing. It would have been helpful to have a mirror in the "kid" room. The only mirror (besides the master bath) is in the small bathroom. The TV is small, as other reviews have stated, and bring your games! This home does not have a stash of games to play. The neighborhood is quiet. We saw deer every morning in the yard and it is super close to the small cute town of White Salmon. Be sure to check out Henni's and Everybody's Brewing for dinner! We would 100% stay again and highly recommend this home!

We came from Fort Lauderdale to escape the heat for a few days. Met up with a family member who has a home in Spokane and drove over to White Salmon. The home more than met our expectations. View was incredible day and night. Had a few days of rain but still found things to do and knew we would be coming back to this wonderful home each evening to relax and just enjoy the view. Would definitely come back here and do it again. Thanks for a great stay!!

First and foremost the view is fabulous, saying it is a million dollar view is shorting the view value by tens of millions of dollars. Place is well appointed, great location, great setting, and just a fabulous place. Would stay again if the chance ever permits.

The view was beautiful and ever-changing. We never got tired of watching the kite surfers and barges below.

there are ants inside. they must know because they put out 1 ant trap on the county. they need to have ants sprayed they are everyone in the house. a few but you do not want it getting worse. over all it really was a nice house.

This house is well accommodated and has the most beautiful views!! Will definitely be back!

It was a great location to view the airplanes flying in for the event at the WAAM museum.

The expansive view of Mt Hood, the Columbia River, and the town of Hood River was stunning!! The home was clean, updated, comfortable, and well-stocked. The hot tub overlooking the gorge was clean, hot, bubbly and a great place to hang out day or night. So beautiful! Eating breakfast on the deck was a peak experience. Really, I cannot say enough about this house and this view. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights, and it was the perfect getaway for me and my husband and our two grown children. We spent time in both towns: White Salmon and Hood River. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!!!

Absolutely gorgeous setting on the Columbia River. The perfect place for a relaxed vacation with friends and base for day trips. Beautiful decks, a hottub for cooler evenings, and lovely dining and living area. We deemed it a perfect spot!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We used the BBQ and ate our dinner overlooking the river. The hot tub was at the right temp and very clean. I would rent the house again!

We walked in and saw the view and it took our breathe away!! From the whole wall of windows you can see the Colombia River and Mount Hood. We loved playing games on the deck and hanging out in the hot tub. Highly recommend this home!!

Great view

I find it really hard to believe that the owners were unaware about the horrible sewage problems. The smell was overwhelming and we found air fresheners tucked behind things in the bathroom to try to mask the smell. I called the very first night but did not get a reply until late the next day. By then it was too hard to move with a very senior person traveling with us. The house was absolutely beautiful and the view was stunning. We hope they fix this issue so others can enjoy the house the way it should have been.

What a fantastic location and property. Perched high above the Columbia river opposite of Hood River. House was comfortable and well appointed, there was a strong odor coming from under the house that we reported to the management company and they gave us a partial credit for the issue. Other than that, a great stay!

Very nice house; great amenities. Just two items to mention 1) We could not find a grill brush, I did send a test message but did not see a replay. The grill might be a little messy. 2) The house had a slight strange smell. You might want to check the crawl space it seems like the odor might be coming from under the house. We had a great time and will deffintaly rent if w are in the area again.

Stunning views from this beautiful home! We were able to see Mt Hood every day and watch the wind surfers. We had a few early on problems with the hot tub and the guest bath. After a quick call to the great staff at Arrived all was taken care of immediately by Roger. He was just wonderful! We loved our stay, the house and the location.

This property met all our expectations

This was a beautiful property in White Salmon with stunning view of Mt. Hood over the Colombia river gorge. The house was easy to find and management company was very responsive. The kids room was great for our toddler. Highly recommend.

Wonderful views but the house is very old and needs upgrading. The Arrived staff are amazing and very responsive to the guests needs.

We loved our week at Eye on the Gorge, and enjoyed relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. The space is clean and well appointed - perfect for two couples. We enjoyed both White Salmon and Hood River, and after a few trips became adjusted to the drive over the narrow bridge! The only slight to the week was when we tried to use the grill and it quickly became engulfed in flames! My husband was able to pull it out from under the over-hang (singeing his arm and hairline), fearful of catching the property on fire, and we doused it with water. The maintenance person told us they advised the owners to replace the grill before our visit. It was a disaster averted and one that apparently could have been avoided. Despite this scare, we found the property to be a magical place - views of Mount Hood, wind surfers, and hummingbirds at the feeder, all added up to a memorable week.

This house is all about the view of the mountain and gorge. So peaceful to watch the windsurfers and kite surfers from the hot tub and deck. Living spaces are roomy. Kitchen fully stocked. White Salmon and Hood Rive are charming towns. I'll be back.

Truly delighted with our stay. The view is exceptional. We didn't see Mt Hood, but the gorge and Hood River were stunning and it snowed. 6 Hawks circled in the sky. Our 3 boys took over the kids room and we enjoyed the Master Suite. Kitchen was well-equipped. Hot tub was clean and relaxing. I hope we can stay again.

This house was everything! We had a stunning weekend with views. The house was just what we needed for a relaxing moms weekend away. We all want to come back!

We had the most wonderful time and the view was amazing! The only problem was the hot tube was serviced on Friday so we lost a whole day of the use of it. That was kinda upsetting to us because that's one of the main reasons my husband got it because I have severe RA. We got a refund of 50 bucks and that seemed a little light considering the rate for this place. We will be back but probably not on a Friday.

The view and location were ideal for us while exploring the river area. The hot tub perched on the cliffside was very enjoyable, and the neighborhood was quiet. The home itself seems in a transition with some parts being tastefully remodeled and others not.

Spacious and clean. Cannot beat the views from all directions. Very private and quiet spot. A short five minute drive to downtown White Salmon where there are a few awesome restaurants. We will be back. Loved it.

This was just what we needed. My hubby had a little accident the day before we were set to leave and this place was the perfect place to re-coup. The view is always changing and we just wanted to stay and watch out the windows. Can't wait to come back.
