Location in Porto Ercole Room clean and of modern design.

Totally inadequate storage room for an extended stay. Car parking, although free, was distant driving and walking. Local central parking was impossible, making loading and unloading of luggage very difficult. Breakfast was extremely disappointing, prepacked long shelf life cake and toast.

You can't get more central than this in Porto Ercole. Our room was gigantic with a terrace overlooking the main square. Our host Alessandro was very responsive and helpful, offered us local recommendations and tried to help problem solve when we needed access to an iron. You cannot see the sea from the room, but it's just a block away.

The room was a bit dark, and opening the lock to the guest house floor was a bit tricky, but these are negligible points, and I did not mind that the lock was tricky as it made me feel like the door was quite secure. Only downside is the parking lot is quite far away, but there is so little parking in town that having a dedicated spot is great nevertheless.

Great location right outside the main town area! At first, I was disappointed because I thought I had booked a location on the main street and this was just outside (maybe a 6 minute walk), but I quickly realized it was better to be just outside, with free parking and not bothered by the noise of the main street. Everything was impeccably clean, it was really nice to have a full sized updated shower!

Alessandro is one of the most responsive hosts we have ever experienced on Booking.com. Isolotto was the cleanest, well positioned, fully refurbished apartment we’ve had in 3 visits so far to Italy. dishwasher laundry airconditioning all new and good working condition. If you book this please visit Giancarlo at the Navoni G Macelleria Salumeria within sight of balcony. The friendliest and most patient wine, cheese and smallgoods shop owner in Italy. Fantastic raconteur. Gorgeous products. Recommended by Alessandro. His wine options and prosciutto were the best we’ve had and he will find something for every palate even for those like us that find Italian whites too sweet or lacing body. Hard to find a negative about this place. Previous comments about distance of private parking are ridiculous unless you have mobility issues. And as for Porto Ercole it will be forever in our hearts. So quaint. So much history.
