The location of the room was great, as we were close to the train station (1/2 mile), and just outside the walled city. There was a coffee shop a few doors down. When we arrived, the room was not ready, and an employee held our luggage for us and placed it in our room when it had been cleaned.

Unfortunately, we had not paid for our room when we booked it, and no one was available when we were ready to check out the next morning. Since our train was delayed, we were able to return to Dimora Altemura and a staff member was present, so we were able to pay and it wasn't an issue.

Lovely old building, room spacious with high ceiling, shower excellent and everything was clean , with built in wardrobe with fridge

Property was only a 5 min walk to the entrance to the walled Lucca , really good location

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura dal 19 al 21 Agosto, con la mia famiglia. La posizione è ottima, dalla stazione dei treni dista 4mn e dal centro storico poco più di 10 mn. La struttura molto accogliente e pulita, così come la stanza piena di tante accortezze (caramelle, acqua e set di cortesia). Insomma non mancava niente. Proprietaria e staff gentilissimi. Che dire di più? Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Wij verbleven een dagje in Lucca en waren opzoek naar een locatie bij het centrum, maar er niet in aangezien we met de auto waren. De kamer ligt op een kleine 10 minuten wandelen van hartje centrum en een parkeerterrein om te hoek (10€ per dag). De kamer is voorzien van de typische Italiaanse inrichting die je vrijwel overal tegenkomt. Er stond een flesje water voor ons klaar en het inchecken ging eigenlijk redelijk vlot. De kamer was schoon met een comfortabel bed. Op ons vertrek kwamen we de eigenaar tegen die ons nog vriendelijk een koffietje wilde aanbieden.

Paar opmerkingen die wellicht beter konden. Persoonlijk ontvangst voelt toch altijd net iets fijner. Zeker bij het afrekenen van toeristen belasting is het achterlaten van geld op het nachtkastje wat apart. De douche bak maakte wat geluid waardoor hij onstevig aanvoelt. Tot slot zijn de kamers redelijk gehorig. Wij hadden geen last van buren in de nacht, maar in de ochtend hoorden we de buren wel douche. Let daar op als je een lichte slaper bent. Er liggen wel oordopjes op het nachtkastje. Blijkbaar zijn er eerder klachten geweest en is dat wel verholpen zover als ze konden! Wat opzich wel een compliment verdient!

Great location near station and near city wall. Room was very well equipped and lots of hot drink options and a fridge. We were able to drop our bags in early and look around Lucca, a lovely city. Very friendly welcome and lots of communication beforehand with good tips of places to visit.

There was some noise from outside. However, ear plugs did the trick and slept fine.

Personale gentile, posizione ottima

Stanza sul lato mura un po’ rumorosa per via del traffico sostenuto.

La ubicación y la comunicación con la anfitriona que es muy amable. cama cómoda. Fácil de aparcar en las inmediaciones. A 15 minutos del centro caminando

Por poner un pero que no hay ascensor y sabes a un segundo piso.
