Kaia Villas was perfect for us! Our hosts Catherine and Tai were super helpful and friendly, and we had everything we needed. Great location, not far from Muri and with great snorkelling from the private beach. We will be back!

Everything was excellent. Clean. Private. All facilities available. So comfortable. Catherine was so awesome, made our stay pleasant,always available. It was such a bonus to have Kiva ( their pet cat) and Mika (dog) at our villa. So beautiful! Fresh fruit watermelon, pawpaw and passionfruit available at the property! Highly Recommend Kaias Villa for any one who is looking for a comfortable stay and wonderful host. Will definitely see you again in the future. Thankyou again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Rarotonga for 10 days, and my experience was nothing short of incredible. The accommodation, hosted by the amazing Catherine, made this trip truly unforgettable. First and foremost, Catherine's hospitality was exceptional. We had a mix-up with the time zone, but she graciously accepted us early in the morning, for which I am incredibly grateful. Her warm welcome set the tone for the entire stay. The villa is ideally situated on a spacious plot of land, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. However, it's just a short stroll down a path to a beautiful snorkeling beach. The convenience of having shops within walking distance was a plus, but we also chose to rent a car/moped to explore the island. This decision allowed us to fully appreciate the tranquil and serene southeast side of the island, which we fell in love with. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find fresh fruit, a thoughtful food package, and ample bottled water provided. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the plunge pool was a delightful way to unwind after a day at the beach. One remarkable feature of the villa is its protected screens that run throughout the bright and airy space. This design allowed for fantastic natural ventilation, and we never once felt the need to use the air conditioning. In all my experiences using Booking.com, this stay stands out as one of the best. It offered us an authentic glimpse into life on Rarotonga, and we cherished every moment. As we depart, I can't help but miss the villa and the enchanting island it's nestled on. Certainly reflected the photos on booking.com Modern villa with a high level of cleanliness. Modern furniture and appliances. Great location close to popular beaches, activities and cafes. Perfect for a small group or family, very relaxing the plunge pool added bonus. Warmly welcomed by the friendly, polite, and respectful owners. Despite all the roosters, we managed to sleep well with little roster alarming noises.

Nothing to not like about this impeccable place. Was tricky to locate the villas, I'd recommend a large sign on the main road would be helpful. I got assistance from a local. The map wasn't much help.

Catherine was an excellent host - her and her family live behind the villa and met us when we arrived. She was helpful and lovely, but also gave us privacy. The family has a lovely gentle dog and a couple of cats which were a huge hit with our kids! The property is a back section off the main road. This turned out the be perfect as it was quite windy during our stay and the property was sheltered and sunny. The pool was perfect for our kids as they could get from one side to the other easily. The view from the villa was beautiful - looking out over green grass and coconut palms as well as a very fertile looking flower and vegetable garden which belonged to the extended family. We loved that there were no fences as it felt very spacious and our kids could explore. The beach is directly across the road (very close) with access through a section owned my the family. Easy access to Muri, night market, cafes etc. We went to LBV a number of times as it had great food and coffee and a playground! Good mini mart stores close by. The villa was well equipped, beds very comfortable, bath and beach towels were included. Very handy to have a washing machine and drier.

Nothing, it was perfect for us! Great layout of the house. Hot water was a bit fickle but other than that I can’t think of anything we’d change. We didn’t need the air conditioning but it was great to have an aircon unit in each bedroom. Didn’t have a problem with mosquitos either but mesh over all the windows and doors was a great addition if there were bugs.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The villa is beautiful, clean, handy to everywhere and even has its own beach just across the road, which is in one of the best snorkeling areas. Thank you so much Catherine, we loved our stay :-)

Location was excellent. It was on family property which had been with the family for generations. A separate, fully equipped villa with all the amenities, we felt part of the welcoming family without the commercial feel. It was a great place to unwind. Magnificient view of the mountains. Beach only down the drive across the property of an uncle, so felt quite exclusive without all the crowds on the beach! Tai and Catherine are excellent hosts. Helpful without being intrusive. They have a great family. It was wonderful to look out and see the wider family, the children playing , the roosters, hens and the family cow! And yet, we felt quite private! It is the place where one would go to relax, and get away from all the busy life in Aotearoa New Zealand cities. Great value for money. The hosts went the extra mile to provide the little extras. We would definitely book with Tai and Catherine again!!!

We needed to have stayed longer. We were there for a family wedding, which was very moving on the beautiful sands of Rarotonga, and the very friendly welcoming people. Wherever we went, we felt welcome. We must return and stay for two weeks.

Manager was fantastic. Fruit on the tree (papaya, melon) limes provided for beer was a nice touch. Comfortable. Quiet. Everything we needed.
