Lovely family-run hotel, very friendly and relaxed. The breakfasts can be as big as you like and the meals are always excellent (although often more than I can eat). I'll always be back!

Slight drawback, as I get older, is a lack of lift access to the rooms. I'll have to make sure I keep fit!

Only one cup in room for two people.No bottles of water. Otherwise fine.

We were upgraded that was nice, the room was large, bed v comfy, shower good, did expect that normal water available in the room. breakfast was good but lacking in staff at times.

Have been here previously. first time for a weekend break Large breakfast choice was served up if required and a very good selection from cereals...fruit juice... to full English. The cook NAT very helpful as always and looked after our dog with sausage as well. Room very clean large comfortable bed. .

Two things the bathroom could do with a little bit of update....shower mixer taps to adjust to get it right ...shower head bit beat up and the sink taps very stiff to turn off so not running away water. Obviously listed building and lot of steep stairs to room.

The situation is great so were the staff. The room was excellent too

The restaurant was closed so we had to eat on the coffee lounge which was a through fare and dogs were being brought through while we ate.

For the amount charged per night the bathroom was in need of a few repairs and TLC

It was friendly. Breakfast times were narrow, so we didn't bother with breakfast. The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bed linen and towels were pristine white. I am very impressed with the quantity of tea and coffee and milk in the room. TV that worked and with efficient heating. Also, windows opened easily.

It would have been nice to have the option of not having breakfast to bring down the cost of the room. The decor was okay, a bit tired looking. The bedroom carpet needed a good clean. It would have been nice to have two easy chairs in the room as two people occupied the room. A bit of a trek to the room, particularly as I had made a request for minimal stairs as my mobility is challenging.
