This property is stunning...so private, spacious and relaxing. Ann is a wonderful host who really makes you feel very welcome. Perfect spot for a group in particular. Some decent restaurants within a ten minute walk and not far to the beach...but you probably wont want to leave the property as it is so lovely! Delicious plentiful breakfast that varied daily. Highly recommend!

We really loved the house. It was very quiet, super clean and peaceful. Anne was really helpful and very friendly. She helped us book a taxi from the airport and tuk-tuk to go around Diani. Breakfast was amazing too. We really recommend this place if you stay in Diani.

The breakfast was opulent and varied. very nice fresh fruit platter and juices. REAL coffee. also good flexibility re timing of the breakfast. great start into the day. Ann is a responsive host and her staff is friendly and helpful. Love the big swimming pool and the spacious rooms

some staff and workers were talking quite loudly near the room at 6am in the morning already

The pool is just amazing, and the whole place just kinda feels like home, it was close enough from the beach but also far enough that we dont really get the annoying tourist chasers.

the AC remote is only available for a fee - while I understand that this is to avoid energy waste since I'm sure a lot of guests leave the AC on all the time, it would have been nice to just be able to turn it on for a little bit before bed. Consider AC time slots instead of AC fees, or in conjunction.

Absolutely fantastic property, very spacious and clean and Ann is an amazing host!

Every aspect a**

a) The location of the property is very remote and it has taken lot of time to search the property. b) The rooms are not the same as per the images shown on your website. c) Rooms do not have any AC, we were charged additionally for the AC. d) There are no flexibility and no option with the breakfast. There was a fixed item every day, as per the owner's choice. e) There is no provision for lunch or dinner there. It is more of an Air BNB house rather than a hotel facility. Zero value for the money we spent. f) The owner was not very friendly and we did not feel welcome there. g) Any small requests were not considered and were straight away denied.

perfect location for our stay at Diani, this beautiful exceptional property was perfect for our family. Ann and her staff made us very welcome, comfortable and looked after us so well we did not want to leave. We are already looking for the next opportunity to go back. Brilliant breakfast and meals, very clean and safe, perfect contacts for our tours, relaxing atmosphere and best scrub and massage ever. Perfect holiday.

Honestly could not find anything bad to say. If this was on the market I would buy it. That is how much we loved it.

Ann is an exceptional host. She is very welcoming and available whenever needed. My mum and I staying here and we loved how quiet and private it is. The perfect space for relaxation. Breakfast was great on all days.

Absolutely everything!!

Spacious rooms, very good breakfast, it is just a small paradise in the middle of the chaos, 5 minutes walking distance from the beach, you get towels for the beach and for the swimming pool, very good recommendation from the owner (restaurants, diving, etc.)

My stay was great! The owner and all the personel were super kind and helpful. The breakfast is definitively a highlight. I can only highly recommend Zarafa House!

The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and stocked with items you don’t even think you’d need, like an umbrella. Ann is pro-sustainability and it’s evident in the choice of toiletries, etc that are available.

Anne, the host and owner is a fantastic host that thinks of every little detail. she gave us tips to local places, cooks good food and is available to assist with any queries and at all times. the place is spacious and beds huge and comfortable. the pool is cleaned in a daily basis and the surroundings are quiet and full of beautiful trees. it takes less than 10 minutes leisure walking to the beach and even less to the main road.

The hotel is exactly as pictured on the website - recently refurbished, small boutique and intimate hotel compared to surrounding larger resorts. Good size pool, definitely no fighting for sun loungers! The grounds are luscious with green plants, well maintained to high standard, beautiful lit in the evenings! A short stroll to the main road where you can easily catch a tuck- tuck to the centre or short walk to the beach! Suitable for groups/ couples / individual travellers. The rooms are spacious, with large queen size beds- lovely bed linens! Large shower with high quality bathroom products provided. Great nights sleep! Again, high standard of cleanliness. Anne (owner/ manager) is an attentive host, going out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Every morning we enjoyed a different breakfast with - fresh juices, fruits etc (Vegetarian options were great! )

- beautifully designed to small details - very good quality toiletries - comfortable - very peaceful - great pool area with sun beds, towels and hats :) - spacious rooms with big beds - drinks available for purchase in the cooler - excellent breakfast different every day - transfer to Ukunda airport - not far from the beach - walking distance to the sunset spot at Kongo river - friendly stuff One of the best places I’ve visited.
