Villa was excellent. Best welcome pack ever received. Great to be given all towels needed, cleaning products etc. Only 10 mins to village and 20 mins to Funchal. Definitely need a car. Quiet location, amazing views and not over looked Would definitely recommend the villa and would happily return.

Amazing villa. Up a hill but with that you get incredible views. Very clean with great facilities and some nice food and drink surprises included by the very helpful and friendly host.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Amplitude and I would 100% recommend it to anybody looking for place to stay during their Madeira vacation. The house is located high up above Camara de Lobos which is a nice small town with a harbor dedicated to fishing and a couple of good restaurants in the area. From Camara de Lobos it is very easy to reach all destinations on the island by car in 15-60 minute drives. The drive up to the house is a bit of an adventure but if you are a competent driver you'll get used to it quickly. The drive is also absolutely worth it since the view is even more breath taking than the pictures suggest. The deck is extremely spacious and the pool is large enough to properly swim in. Especially since Madeira doesn't offer many sand beaches we were glad that we decided renting a place with a pool like that. The modern interior of the house is very tasteful and more on the minimalistic side which we appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the wifi worked reliably, even when streaming shows on Netflix in the evenings. We'll be booking the house again the next time we are visiting Madeira.

The location is absolutely stunning. The villa has perfect design, is very spacious, literally really huge. The villa hanging on a 150m high cliff, the view to the ocean and Camara de Lobos town is absolutely breathtaking. Lots of space in both indoor and outdoor part of the property. The villa has a private infinity pool to relax when enjoying the view. The area itself is quite hilly, as usual on Madeira, so prepare for quite challenging driving or climbing steep hills when going from the beach uphill to the villa. The host is very welcoming and helpful. He gave us a lots of tips and advices for local activities and attractions. There is a welcome pack on arrival with food and local products, wines, fruits and sweets, which is very nice when you come tired and hungry after a long travel. There is a cable car down to the ocean just in walking distance and Cabo Girao reachable with medium hike or short drive.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The only issue was with air conditioning. Only 2 out of 4 AC units were working during our stay. We were told so in the beginning of our stay by our host but the repair was not done although promised (with apologies - we were the first guest in this villa after a very long time due to corona situation). We stayed for 1 week and this was a little annoying during for the a couple of first nights. There was an exceptionally hot weather without a single cloud for the whole week of our stay. The second half of the week was OK, as the normal Madeira weather is not as hot even during summer. So we think not working AC might usually not be a big issue.

The view was magnificent, the pool was fabulous (although may need heating in the cooler months) the villa was top quality with large light and very well equipped rooms, the bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were superb, the bbq area was great, the outdoor decking area with table and concrete stools were a great area to eat and drink while admiring the view. The host (Tiago) was exceptional and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as comfortable and informed as possible. We loved the villa and Madeira and will be back! Thanks Tiago!
