The room was spotless and extremely comfortable.

Friendly owners.
Perfect room for a solo traveler like me.
About ten minutes drive to the airport.
And 45 mins to Cardiff city centre by public transport.
Good value for money.
Breakfast was good but very basic.
Just some cereals, bread, spreads, coffee and tea.

A fantastic location for Barry Island beach and resort. Meryl Was a fantastic host. Taking time out to tell us about the surrounding area and local interests.

Lack of plug sockets, kettle and fridge had to be moved.

It was super clean, the lady who owned it was so lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
If I had to really pick at anything it would be the option of a hot breakfast - this is not a big deal and the breakfast provided was lovely so it is not something that would put me off.

What a beautiful property and host Meryl, nothing was too much trouble and felt like a real home from home 😊 my room was beautiful and although I had a shared bathroom it was spotlessly clean and luxurious. Plenty of refreshments including bottled water and lovely bedding. Amazing value for money will definitely stay here again

Lovely little over night stay for us and two children . Safe home from home feel and 5 mins from the huddle and bustle.

We've been double booked by Booking.com and it was a lot of stress when we arrived at the property late evening and all the rooms were occupied. But our host was so nice to offer us her room for the night ( she had to sleep on a couch 😐) I would say that was first rate stay for us. Best service

Actually It's an amazing place and Meryl is so kind and full of experiences of hospitality.
The only thing that you should know there is no oven to cook something but there is microwave

It was very clean. Beds were fresh and comfortable. And everything smelled nice.
TV wasn't working unfortunately. And was just slightly noisy with being near the front door. Everything else spot on

Meryl is an excellent host, lovely engaging host. Haven rooms was clean and very comfortable. Good value for money and great location for what we wanted. Check in was flexible and simple. We had an early start the next day and Meryl set up breakfast the night before for us to enjoy. Felt nothing was too much trouble. Good Parking!
