It was very good value for money. Had a pool and is close to the main street in Palomino with lots of shops, food places. Also close to the bus stop.

Beach is not so close, but definitely walkable. They had construction going on, but it was OK. Many mosquitos in the room.

Pool was nice, most things seemed fairly new, the room was super well climatized and the kitchen was big and nice

The staff, who kicked me out while we agreed I could stay another day. Unfortunately people wanted to book the whole dorm, money comes first in consideration I guess. There was no soap, no towels, no shower curtains.

the only good thing about this property is the pool.

First of all I got charged and had to pay in cash before my stay. This never happened to me before in my previous bookings in Colombia. As booking.com keeps my card information, that is a guarantee- and it has always been the protocol for any hotel I stayed in, and hotels that were way more expensive. When I asked to see the room first, the personnel reluctantly agreed. Second, I arrived in a place that seemed half in the works, with bricks in the lobby. The room smelled extremely moldy and the sheets weren’t clean. Besides that, suddenly at 1 am the music started playing incredibly loudly so I walked at the reception and there was a kid playing around with his phone and putting music. Who the kid was it’s a mistery to me but that definitely didn’t make me feel safe. Random people just sitting on the reception desk, go figure. And I generally never leave any review but this stay was just plain uncomfortable.

The place seems to be new but very nice. The wifi was good enough. The staff was nice. The pool is not very deep but great for refreshing. Rooms have AC which you don't find everywhere in Palomino.

The pool was a bit dirty and paid breakfast went a bit below my expectations.

Lacked basic amenities, no lockboxes, not many power outlets in dorm room, no kitchen, hostel was still under construction, staff blasted music from 7am - 2am every night we stayed - even though the hostel was empty.
