Excellent location short walk to beach and lovely to walk along the front. View over port from balcony. Beach chairs and umbrella provide, very short walk to lovely sandy beach so very convenient

Walls are thin so noise carries easily and can get some noise from local restaurants as you would expect as quite a few very close by. Main disadvantage is no lift 3 floors to walk up fom port, if have car can park at back then just 2 floors down

The location was perfect, directly opposite the marina and a very short walk to the beach. Sally the host was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us a show around of the apartment. The room was light and bright and the views from the balcony were wonderful. They provided cleaning products and some items in the cupboards like salt and pepper, oil and vinegar which saved us having to buy these types of things. We booked this as a last minute get away, and the apartment was excellent value for money, especially once my genius reward was added to bring the price down further.

Whilst Sally warned of the smell that sometimes comes from the drains, which can an issue with being so close to the sea and the marina. At times I found it quite unbearable and leant to keep the plug in the sink and water in the bowl to stop it coming through the plug hole, we also kept the bathroom door shut for the same reason. The issue with the drains is not the fault of the hosts, but feel it is an issue that happens due to the drainage in the area, probably caused by the lack of rain in recent months, as there are a number of places we went to that had the same smell. Another factor which was frustrating was the quality of the pillows, its a shame that they weren't better. Please don't let these couple of things put you off, as the positives outweighs the negatives.

Amazing balcony overlooking the marina, amazing restaurants just downstairs, just 1 minute walk to the beautiful beach of villajoyosa, good value for money. Good internet. Good check-in experience with the lady who cleans the apartment. Good communication via WhatsApp. Dont forget to ask about the way to the Eurospar supermarket: you can get there via the back door at the 4th floor. Yes, it sounds strange, but the entire village is very steep: the roof of the building has a door to the street!!

The main problem was the smell in the bathroom. We knew it in advance, because of other reviews, but we didn't imagine that some days it could be so strong. The owners are aware about this problem, but they can't do much because the entire building is like that. Then, please keep in mind that it's a 3rd floor with no lift. Also the TV was not obvious to use. For the first days, most of the channels were black, including LA1, which transmitted the world cup. Then, they suddenly started working. Despite all this, it was an overall good experience.
