The outdoor steps are very steep so the flat isn't easily accessible if your mobility is restricted in any way. This is made clear in the description though.

The Duck House was perfectly located for exploring the area, all the major sites were no more than 30 minutes drive. A visit to RSPB Arne is a must.The flat was equipped with everything you could need while on holiday and comprehensive instructions were provided for the appliances. Wool itself has a lovely bakers selling great pasties, a well stock Spar and the Black Bear pub was great for a pint.

Mother did not shower . She is in her 80 but very fit and active .

The Duck House is very homely and incredibly well stocked, anything we could have imagined was present and accounted for.
The stairs were a killer after a long day of walking but nothing can be done about this. Everything else was perfect!

Perfect base for house hunting in the area. Everything we could need for a self catering stay. Location was ideal and flat was really comfortable. With foul weather, it was lovely to snuggle up.
Couple of niggles. Grill/oven didn't work and instructions were only thing missing from the booklets. Plus light at the door wasn't working but they'd provided a torch!
Stairs to access 1st floor are scary!! 😱

If you’re not steady on your feet, the metal stairs up to the property may be a bit daunting!

The house was lovingly decorated, the facilities were great and we found it extremely comfortable.
