A great little hidden away place in a brilliant location. King's Cottage is really close to transport links and local amenities, but tucked away enough to make you feel like you're in a remote village. The place is well kitted out and it had literally everything I needed. Great communication from the hosts too. The washer dryer was a god send with spending the week walking and riding in less than ideal conditions.....as was the huge log burner. Oh and the free fudge was spot on!

Beautiful cottage with excellent choice of decor. Very homely and welcoming. We felt at home very quickly. Comfy beds and beautiful area to explore.

Good location equidistant from Giggleswick and Settle stations (20 minutes walk). Quiet village location, apart from the lovely church bells! Convenient pub serving food nearby. The sun-tube in the bathroom was an excellent solution to provide daylight without windows. I was very pleased to be able to gain access early to leave my bag and put food in fridge before going out walking for the day. The host was very pleasant on the phone arranging this.

Minor point: being dog-friendly there were the inevitable dog hairs in the property.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Communication from owners especially giving local information was excellent. Close to many amenities. Welcome pack was a lovely touch.
