Very comfortable room (room 403) and a pleasant breakfast room with a range of options.
Very little water pressure in shower and tap. Water slow to heat up too. Also walls are thin and if your neighbors are noisy, you will hear them.

Larry and the front desk staff were amazing.
The breakfast meats are undercooked. It may be a standard, because I had a guest stay in the Huntington Downtown Hampton Inn and the same thing, the breakfast meats are undercooked.

The location was key to me. The hotel is very nice and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Clean. Location to where we were spending time with family
Bait and switch on booking.com. I reserved a 2 bedroom suite on booking.com-two bedrooms and two beds in each room. Upon arrival they said they did not have that type of room and booking.com made a mistake. A lot of finger pointing as to whose mistake it was. But I do know, and my confirmation showed, that I had booked correctly what was offered. Front desk staff was less than helpful. While speaking with booking.com they kept putting them on hold, to address walk up guests and phone calls, while trying to resolve the issue. Took an hour and a half to check in. Manager stated it happens all the time with booking.com. Then why don’t they fix it? In the end my four night stay ended up costing me $400 additional dollars as we did not wish to relocate to another hotel at 10pm that Sunday night. Neither booking.com nor the hotel have resolved the issue. Manager did comp one room first night, but that room was double the price of the other nights. So was it really comped? Not sure how I can use booking.com again. Can’t trust Hampton Inn to honor their commitment either.

Breakfast was very good. Fresh bagels and biscuits every day! Room was very clean. Location couldn't be better. The town needed a place like this for a long, long time.
Quite expensive! The housekeeping was a bit hit and miss, but when they showed up they did a fabulous job!

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. It is located in the middle of Manhattan and therefore very accessible to all the major attractions either by walking or subway

The room was clean and appeared to be like new/freshly renovated. The shower was very comfortable with ample soap and towels, and the curtains were room darkening. I love that. In addition, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
There was a slight odor to the top cover on my bed, so I didn't use it.

The woman on duty during our check-in. We had our wedding guests stay here for our daughters wedding. The woman at check-in was difficult at best. She was uncooperative and many family members had issues with her. Unacceptable attitude.

Lots of noise from surrounding area, loud music till after 1:00 am. Unfortunately guests from a wedding were very loud in the hallway as well as you could hear the party through the walls. Took thee calls to the front desk, two of which were not answered.

while the property is new and shiny this building definitely has some issues. The walls are paper thin , late night music and noise from area restaurants until we’ll past midnight we’re bothersome.
While there on the second night a group of drunk people came in after midnight, partying in hallway. when the front desk was called they said they were coming back from a wedding and they would settle down , this did not happen . I called the front desk twice with no answer. The people above our room were up till 2:00 am talking loudly and you could hear every foot step they made as well as their loud voices. The walls are thin. In addition the water pressure in the shower is extremely low.

The hotel apparently ran out of regular coffee for the room coffee makers but also didn’t have any coffee made in the morning to compensate. Vanessa was the front desk attendant and she was very rude.
