Carlos is an amazing host, he'll give you tips and explain what to do and how to move around in the island. All clean and comfortable.

I spent only few hours at night between 2 flights but I am greatfull for the help I received to book a taxi for the airport.

Very difficult to find especially at night , taxi did not know the place. I found it only thanks to a very friendly neighbour who walked with me lookong for the place at 11pm and even he called the manager to ask for the exact location. Thanks Praia people. The place was not kept in very good condition but for few hours why not.

The shared room am staying is not well secured . Anyone can go in anytime .

Cheapest option around, you get what you pay for. Basic dorm in private apartment. Kind but slightly distracted owner.

Very warm room, no fan, very squeaky beds, location is a bit out of the way.

individual rooms not much more expensive than the dorms … had a look at the dorm and it’s very large kitchen and large terrace large bathroom Carlos knows well the island and is responding accurately and timely to questions via what’s app he speaks good English ( very rare on Santiago island ) very convenient to the market where you can take busses to other cities

difficult to find as not the correct number number 5 but on booking it says number 2. in the block of goat and no indications that we have arrived at the correct address too no hot water for the shower very large terrace but no seating nor table there to enjoy the outdoor space

The host and personal is very friendly and look after you. They are always available and helpful for any questions or tips concerning the area. The internet is stable and quite fast so also remote work was possible without problems. I can recommend this place if you look for a good stay in Praia

The host is just amazing! Great communication via Whatsapp. He even picked me up from the airport at 01.30 at night! Also gave me extensive advice and directions when I asked. Super friendly and welcoming! The accommodation is just as described, and clean spacious bathroom; everything you need. Location is good, in the city centre, close to shops and supermarket.

Shower was cold water only, but not big problem

Easy, convenient location to the local market as well as connectivity to buses for trips to Assoumara, Tarrafal, Cidad da Vella and more! Also easy to walk home after going to the supermarket and having drinks or dinner around Plateau area! The owner, Carlos, is extremely helpful and warm and we explored local neighbourhoods to see bars, street food, salons and local homes, which usually tourists wouldn't get to see!

The place is nicely located. And the owner is one of the most amazing person I came across.

The location is close to the city center. You will have plenty of space in the room and all the areas. But what I really liked was the exchange with Carlos, he is really friendly and helpful. I really recommend you his place !

Nothing

I consider this place as good. Location is ok, quite close to the airport. Tcharles the owner is really helpful and available (he welcomed me at 2 am !), furthermore, fluent in English. This place is a new challenge for Tcharles so he is always happy to hear your requirements. There is always beter somewhere, but for me the asked price is right. I already booked this place for my last night in Cabo Verde before my return flight.

And yes, the place needs "evolution". Three rooms available, the one on the street side is of course a bit more noisy.
