The villa is well decorated and the garden is beautiful. The facility is clean.

I did not expect to share bath room and toilet with others. I also did not expect that the two rooms are in basement floor (with window).

despite being confirmed by booking.com with email, the host intially denied the availability of the room, blaming booking.com having made an error. After some discussions and arrangements (moving another guest), the room was finally made available.

Extraordinary! Please don’t make me choose what was best - the immediate sense of welcome as we entered, the lovely, gracious host, the glorious light that filled nearly every room, the charming, top/quality decor, the tranquility of the lush Japanese garden, or the delightful, yummy breakfast. Without question, we will return with our family for several days of boundless bliss.

The only improvement that could be made? An extended stay!/

The host told us we booked the cheapest room for like 5 times, a bit of a snob to be honest.

I stayed 5 nights in Harmony house in July. My room was downstairs with shared toilett and shower. Mattress of the bed was exellent and I slept very well. The athmosphere of the house was peaceful and I felt myself very welcome. I had a very relaxed summer holidays there. Thank you Antje!

It was really nice staying at Harmony house. The hospitality was excellent and the environment inside and the garden embraced us with its beauty. The hosts make a homy atmosphere. The breakfast was very good and eating meal together with other guests and hosts was a nice experience. And they have an excellent sauna down stairs. Staying at Harmony house was a restful and refreshing time. Thanks.

It would have been better to know that the sauna costs extra. We would have used it anyway. Because the location is not near Flensburg it would have been good to have handout paper about how you can get to the main train station and the busses that go downtown. And maybe a map of Handewitt, is something interesting looking at there , where are the grocery store and so on.

A wonderful stay was had and wish we could have stayed longer. Hospitality is top notch, facilities are lovely, and there is attention to every detail. We hope to return for a longer period. 5 stars-plus!

Hidden GEM in the very North of Germany. Just across the border from Denmark and close to the A7, more precisely in Handewitt, lies the amazing Harmony House with it's athmosphere of tranquility and peace. With every room carefully planned out in terms of colors and interior it is the perfect place to wind down after a busy day on the road. Not to mention the garden, with it's koi pond, freshly cut lawns, herbs growing and absolute relaxing feel. The breakfast table is definately a must-see and an experience in it's own. Simply put it's a place to stay the night, but then again, it's actually SO much more, if you don't mind taking it all in. Highly recommendable!
