We had the most amazing time at Cabana Blu and will definitely stay there again if we return to Kos! All of the staff made us feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived, and were super friendly and helpful. We stayed for my boyfriend’s birthday and Athina the receptionist and her team made sure our room was set up with a delicious birthday cake when we arrived, which was very thoughtful, as well as the plates of food they saved us from the buffet as we arrived late at night so had missed dinner! We stayed all inclusive and had a choice of the hotel’s three restaurants: Mediterranean, Asian, and buffet-style. The food was amazing every time we visited the restaurants, Stylianos and his team of chefs do a superb job, providing a wide variety of choice every day and everything we ate was such great quality and had us wanting more ! We especially loved the Mediterranean restaurant, with our favourite dishes being the mushroom risotto and lamb chops, Dobri the waiter was very attentive and helpful, and he recommended us a lovely local wine from Hatziemmanouil winery which we then went to visit one day for a wine tour as we loved it so much! We also loved the fried banana from the Asian style restaurant, it was so good we asked chef Stylianos for his recipe! The pool area is very relaxing and we spent most of our time there during the day, the bar staff are again very attentive and will always ask if you need any more drinks and bring them to your lounger. We chatted lots to Denisa who was a great mixologist and gave us lots of tips on what cocktails we would enjoy, Denisa was very friendly and always gave us a laugh ! The standard of our room was excellent, it felt very clean and comfortable and the beds were like clouds, we had a great night’s sleep every night.

Something that we were not aware of before visiting is that the all inclusive package only includes dinner at each A la Carte restaurant once, after this there is an extra charge. To us, the food was so good that we didn’t mind paying for a second night in the Mediterranean restaurant, however this is something to bear in mind! We swam in the pool a few times however one thing to note is the water was very cold which did make it a bit uncomfortable to get in, so it would have been made even better if there was a little bit of heating for the pool, but once you are in the water it is nice. We had a private jacuzzi on our ground floor balcony which we enjoyed and was very relaxing - our only constructive criticism here would be that you can see straight through to the main road through the outside balcony wall so adding some thicker bushes or a higher/more opaque wall might be a good idea for guest’s privacy. However this didn’t stop us enjoying our time here and making use of the spa jacuzzi! We had hoped to use some of the spa/gym facilities during our visit and they are available for use however they are not fully complete/built yet with some of the massage rooms missing doors. This didn’t cause a huge issue for us but worth noting if you are wanting to use those facilities during your stay, we were assured that these will be completed very soon!

What I did not like it: neighborhood has to improve but it is all towns problem , a lot of rubbish's on streets even on beaches, looks like people worry about their own garden only. But the locals are very friendly and helpful.

The best Boho/Chic experience I had! The room was amazing and the food was really 5 stars quality! You should try Denisa’s Virgin Boost mocktail, it’s fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful!

Breakfast was fantastic cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive and very professional. Location was just what I was looking for, close to the beach and in a quiet area with access to all amenities that I needed. New clean and well kept rooms. Cleanliness throughout the hotel and pool area was impeccable.

The best all inclusive I have ever stayed at. Full cocktail list, made from scratch. Food is lovely, very well prepared. All rooms are stunning. Bathrobes are a lush touch. The hotel staff are the most amazing people. I never usually travel back to a hotel or place once visited but I will be back in June just to see the staff. Really looked after me as a solo traveller and honestly every single person there has made my holiday so amazing. Thank you so much. I wish I could give 100 rating!

Nothing… Everything is perfect

Great hotel, I only spent the 1 night due to other hotels already being pre booked but wish I had booked longer there. Staff really friendly, food was lovely and fantastic location right on the beach. This hotel has obviously had a full renovation with a few bits here and there to finish, but this did not effect my stay at all. I look forward to coming back next year and staying longer.

I had an amazing stay at Cabana Blu Hotel & Suites. Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very nice & new. Just a few steps from the beach The food is superb!!! No construction works are on hotel. Will absolutely be looking to return in the future.

The food at the hotel was good and some of the staff were exceptional, but there were many with little or no experience,

When we booked this hotel the images online looked amazing but we were disappointed to find that the hotel wasn't finished and the pictures had been photoshopped in many cases, during our stay there was building work ongoing for the whole week, when we highlighted this to the manager she didn't offer any kind of refund or compensation, The hotel isn't finished and is being mis sold as a 5 star when in reality until it's finished and all the facilities are in place it's possibly a 3 star at the most. No spa or wellness facilities, No additional restaurants, No gymnasium all of which the hotel says are in place after a couple of days we found out that there was a beach area that was part of the hotel and you could access the all inclusive side there also, complete lack of information on what was available for your stay, Since returning to the UK we have raised disputes with booking.com who have contacted the property to seek a refund or compensation all of which have been refused, We booked this holiday to take my elderly mother away for the first time in several years due to the pandemic, to say were disappointed is an understatement. I had a laptop stolen from the room and the hotel manager took it upon herself to access our bedroom late at night whilst we were in bed before running off down the hallway, A handful of staff were really good a girl in the restaurant was very good and at the pool bar but this was overshadowed by the complete lack of customer service shown by others. There was constant building work with rooms unfinished and with access to the top floor of the hotel which was still under construction it was a danger to the general public and a death trap for children should they have wondered up the stairs as there were open edges all over the top floor Hotel owner sat and watched!!
