I loved that the apartment was a whole floor of a house. The beds were comfortable, and one had electric control.The host lives downstairs, which is very convenient if you need to borrow an umbrella, for example. The property is actually in Germany but just a ten minute walk from the city in Switzerland, with charming caffes all along the river, swans, ducks, and even a zeppelin in the morning.

I would recommend not having an additional fee for detergent to wash your clothes. I think if you have an amenity to be able to wash your clothes, you should get at least one free load.

Many stairs to climb. Its not mentioned at all at the site and if uou have a poor health or problems climbing stairs then don’t book this B&B. Unfriendly and hostile host complaining about our booking of 2 adults and 2 kids. for some reason the kids ages were 0yrs and 0yrs (Instead of 12 and 14 years.) The host didn’t send us any questions about it and we were confronted with a 50 Swiss francs ‘penalty’. about 200 Euro is way too expensive for a poor furnished apartment without a sitting room (just 3 little eating tables in big empty room). We didnt get any breakfast (its a bed and breakfast). The rooms were too warm but we were not allowed to regulate the heating ourselves. If you want to use the washing machine they charge you €6,00. On top of €200 per night….. We would never go back here and we would not recommend this place.

Air conditioning all in the bedrooms, quiet location yet still close to the river and friendly hosts.

There are additional charges of 6 euro for each time using washing machine. To many sign boards do/don't, in and around the accommodation.

Apartment was great size for 4 people to stay in.

Apartment wasn't close to town but it was a very nice walk along the river to get to town.

Huge flat 120m2, very very comfortable, clean, nice view, modern, 5km to waterull, very nice, and helpful hosts Absolutely fantastic flat.

the place is spacious and clean, with parking, very close to Schafhausen.

-strong smell of cigarettes in all the apartment. -the place is inside the owners’ house so when you go in and out, you must pass through their house and windows. we wouldn’t have taken the place if we knew that in advance. -the owner just entered the apartment in the middle of our stay, without asking (we were in the shower) and started explaining me about the recycling, it was inappropriate and really made us feel uncomfortable.

Collection of keys on arrival. Parking available for guests but isn't mentioned which one is reserved to Paradiso appartment. Host didn't bother to show me the right parking. I had to figure it out. Appartment was clean.

Host is not very flexible with this. > Very old and uncomfortable mattresses. > Although the description shows that you can use the whole appartment with kitchen, balcony and lounge, On arrival we got info give on A4 size paper that we have reserved 3 bed rooms and 2 wash rooms. When I asked if I could use kitchen, host didn't bother to reply. > Disappointment was paying a huge amount for this place.
