The Stanley Cottage is just perfect with a location that can’t be beat. We really enjoyed the large updated kitchen and the back garden area with its beautiful flowers. The home has a fun layout with plenty of space for the family. We highly recommend!

Great central, yet peaceful location. Very well equipped throughout. Lovely walks all around, with great pubs to repair to afterwards!

Rubbish from previous tenants had not been removed (though this was rectified once we pointed it out). The water in one of the showers did not drain away, so 5 of us had to share one shower.

The cottage was beautiful. So much bigger inside than it looks from out. Easy to access and ideal for three girls to catch up. A short walk to the Red Lion who have great food and explore the local shops. Nice touch with the milk and biscuits on arrival. thank you. That was great for me after flying into the UK late in the evening. Unfortunately, the weather not so much so we didn't get chance to sit in the lovely garden.

We were unable to change the temperature in the cottage and turn the radiators on earlier, so it was chilly and coming from overseas weight is limited. If you are travelling locally, I would suggest your slippers and house coat. The wood fire is lovely, if you can keep it going.... Just to say the stairway is a little steep so it would not be ideal for older people or those who struggle with walking.

Beautiful property with lots of character and charm. Very clean and in an excellent location, walkable to restaurants, pubs, grocery. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Had fault on TV which was inconvenient.. Sykes and the property owner sorted problem out efficiently.and to our satisfaction 100%.

We didnt have breakfast, the location was perfect
