This is quite a find - a quiet, peaceful room in an elegant house in the heart of the city and next to the cathedral. The breakfast was excellent and the recommendations for local places to eat good.
No - it's great and perfect for an overnight stay if you are travelling up through France.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en duidelijke uitleg over kamer en ontbijt. Prima ontbijt met voldoende variatie. De ligging is fantastisch, vlak naast de kathedraal van Laon. Uitstekend bed.
De muren zijn nogal dun, maar gelukkig hadden we rustige buren.

The hotel was in a great location, just yards from the cathedral and town centre. The owner was delightful and very helpful. The room was large and comfortable. We had to leave early before breakfast was available; however, the owner put out some homemade cakes for us to take on our journey.

Heerlijke kamer.
Erg gehorig hotel. Je kreeg letterlijk alles mee qua herrie van de naastliggende kamer. Geen parkeerplek voor de deur ivm stadsfeest. We moesten dus een end lopen met onze bagage, niet handig. Was ons ook niet gezegd dat er een dorpsfeest/hardloop wedstrijd was in het stadje waardoor alles was afgesloten. Onhandig dus.

Wow. This was a gem of a place! But first, Laon is probably the prettiest city you've never heard of. It's a little difficult to get to as it sits high on a plateau, but it's worth getting there. Many great places to dine at and attractions to see. Just go!
The B&B is run by a young couple with a daughter, and it is just fantastic. Huge rooms, very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Our host was extremely helpful. We stayed two nights and could easily stayed two more except for our schedule.
It's a little difficult to get to. We'd been riding bikes prior to arriving, and we had to take a bus to get there, including a transfer. And after that, there's are still steps to get to the top of the hill. But don't let that keep you away!

Top Lage, zentral gelegen direkt bei der der Kathedrale, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar.
Sehr sauber, und sehr nette Gastgeber, ein gutes Frühstück und sehr ruhig.
Die Gastgeber sprechen hervorragend Englisch.
Parksituation ist nicht ganz so toll, aber der besonderen Lage in der Altstadt geschuldet.
Kleiner Tipp: öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze sind nur wenige Gehminunten entfernt.
Und wer nachts kein Prolbem hat sein Auto kurz "umzuparken" findet was direkt vor der Haustür.

Very convenient for cathedral and interesting places at Laon. Delightful owner, very helpful and thoughtful. Easy to park close by.

It was excellent. The house was a beautiful old building full of character and the rooms were clean and well furnished. The owners were very friendly and helpful and provided a breakfast to your own specifications. They gave helpful advice about places to visit in Laon and which local restaurants they would recommend. The location of the house was perfect for visiting the historic centre of Laon as it was right next door to the cathedral. Although the house had no parking facilities, there was a large free car park at the end of the street.

Old house in a central but quiet location almost next door to the cathedral. Bedroom with large ensuite bathroom. Access to guest lounge and garden at any time, with tea and coffee available. Good breakfast. The owners are a young couple with a small daughter and all went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

A beautifully decorated small property with a very friendly and helpful host. Great location and an unexpected pleasure on our stopover on our way home. Set right in the heart of this historic town and a minutes walk from the cathedral and the shops and restaurants. I would recommend it most strongly.
We found a parking pace right outside the property and there was a car park at the end of the street - there didn;t seem to be any charges for these and there were no parking meters! There might be a problem in the height of summer for other visitors?

Amazing location, and almost part of the cathedral!
The couple who run this were so friendly and helpful, and their Daughter is adorable.
I was pretty ill the night we arrived, and they were brilliant at helping.
The breakfast is delicious, and very plentiful.
We will definitely return

A charming small hotel just a stones throw from the cathedral. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The shared lounge with fresh fruit and drinks was an unexpected bonus.
The owners could not have made us feel more welcome and we thoroughly recommend a stay.
