We were well considered during our stay, we had travelled far and where tired upon arrival, no fuss, just ensuring we found our room. Breakfast was perfect, set us up for our day of walking. 👍

The accomodation was very clean and modern . The beds were very comfortable but the best thing about this place is the owners Allison and he husband. They were extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return there soon!

Beautiful large room with a sea view! Two comfy chairs looking out across the road to the beach. A lovely touch of a stick of rock on the tea tray. A very clean and comfortable room and Netflix too! Breakfast was lovely, set us up for the day of exploring Lindisfarne and Banburgh castle. Lots of parking space too. Lovely staff. Just a lovely little B&B.

Booked tickets for my husband to watch rugby at Murrayfield and found it was so expensive to stay in Edinburgh... Glad I looked further afield and found this lovely place that was only around 1 hr 15 min drive to Murrayfield. Warm welcome on arrival, lovely, big, clean room and en suite. Very friendly owner, gave recommendations of where to eat etc. Ample and free parking. Small fridge which had proper milk for tea/coffee rather than those horrid little cartons! Also had a bottle of cold filtered water in it. Some other lovely touches such as a stick of rock, postcard and biscuits in the room. I generally struggle to sleep when I'm away but had the best sleep I have had in a long time away from home both nights! Very comfy bed. Breakfast made to order and very accommodating to dietary needs (I am veggie). So close to the sea front, very peaceful area and a nice 20 min walk to town which had some lovely restaurants etc.

Nothing that we did not like really. Would have been nice to have a room with a sea view but didn't request this tbf and we were more than happy with the room we had.

Mattress was not the comfiest, although bed was lovely and clean.

The rooms were very comfortable and warm and had been well thought out. You could see they had just been refurbished with a lot of detail included.

Whilst we commend using tea/coffee etc without packaging to cut down on waste, it didn't feel or look very hygienic. The biscuit jar for example didn't look like it had been washed before being refilled as there were old crumbs in the bottom of it. The same for the jam jars at breakfast. Whilst it didn't detract from our stay, I feel the plan to use less packaging could do with more thought.
