The climb up to the cabin and to mezzanine floor. I wasnt aware b4 i came. I realise after that at nearly 70 i wasnt target customer Wasnt liking spiritual activity in cabin ... hopefully sorted now ive blessed it

An insect screen on at least 1 of the windows would have allowed for fresh air at nite

perfect retreat in the hills to have tranquility and where you can slow down after traveling the hot spots of the South Island. The host - Mark and Tania are great - so friendly and help wherever they can. The cabin has everything what one need and the community kitchen is a great place to chat with the others. However, you need a car and should be fit to climb the hills and up the ladder.

maybe wanted to not disturb the relaxing atmosphere, but WiFi could be a bit faster.

The location is so quiet and chilled out. Rooms are lovely. So peaceful. Very close to bike trails which is why we chose it.

Parking could be pretty tight but it was okay while we were there.

secluded area great location if your looking for peace and tranquillity in your life and great hiking tracks near by. highly recommended, Hosts Mark and family were amazing

unique, friendly staff and very secluded. loved the smell of the cabins and felt like I was in the forest. a lovely small business that I’d recommend.

Beautiful spot. Spotlessly clean. Relaxing and full off birdsong.

The accommodation was our style, we really enjoyed the stay. Room, bathroom, kitchen, all clean. The mountain view was amazing. Beautiful and peaceful place with bird sounds. Enjoyed walking with dog on the track morning and evening, just up the hill next to accommodation. The owners were friendly and helpful

On the way up to the accommodation was loose stones. It would be nice to have a handle on the side.

Everything. Coming from a busy city this was such a beautiful relaxing spot. Loved waking up to all the trees and the sound of birds ❤ the hosts were so lovely and their gorgeous wee girl made a great friend and tour guide for my son and I. Will definitely recommend and be back. Thanks so much again!

Beautiful location, hosts incredibly welcoming both to us and our dog. Fantastic dog walks from the site. Lovely cabin with great shower, tea making, beautiful views. Great communal kitchen equipped with everything you could need.

Steep slope up to cabin and ladder up to bed was no problem for us but some might find it hard going. Wifi was hit & miss but you're so close to town it shouldn't really matter.

Quiet peaceful location set in native bush. Loved the outdoor fire brazier and communal kitchen cabin. Great place to bring the dog and have access to local walks and mountain biking trails. Lovely welcoming owner :)
