Location to the village

Maybe a better fridge , but that’s being picky

Centre of Alfriston

Very noisy traffic all day and early morning but realize nothing could be done about that.

Breakfast not provided (and not expected). Location very good but access from a car to the property difficult for me using (temporarily) a zimmer frame. The lay-out, condition and equipment of the property all excellent.

Location was good. Address details should be made clearer. Door number should be declared when given access details for key collection.

Great location for centre of Alfriston village. Nice quaint area. Property fine for a couple of nights, squeezes in alot to this small space. A few more kitchen items than expected. Good WiFi, as phone signal limited. Deskfan was great to help in hot weather, mini hairdryer and mini iron also available, all useful. Good pub and village shop. Would stay again if visiting or travelling through the area. Worth reading other reviews too.

All minor points... Handy to have a description to key safe along with code sent, property manager responded quick though. Busy road at times, but expected. No parking, but found free parking nearby next to church green, paid parking available elsewhere in village. Having proper fridge, larger bathroom sink, newer mattress, and airfryer or similar, would then recommend longer stays.

Not having a TV. Not having a proper little fridge. Not having a kitchenette unit housing a little hob and oven. A microwave only is fine and understandable for the space allocated to the kitchen area but it's limits what you may want to prepare yourself after a long day out and about.

The lodge did have a fridge, didn’t specify that it’s a wine fridge that doesn’t go lower than 11 degrees. The place looked clean overall but the bottom of bedding sheet was dirty. I just hope the sheets were fresh and clean prior to our arrival.
