Enjoyed our stay in condo and River Run Village, Condo was as advertised and was in a great location to get to gondola for skiing. I would recommend this unit.

It was good. Our only compliant was the construction noise and traffic from 7am to 7pm. Unfortunately, the condo faced the construction so we heard construction noise and trucks coming in and out all day.

Reviewer Comments: Our check-in was a bit rough, since the elevator in our building was out of order and there wasn't any advance notice or signage to let us know. In spite of saying that an "emergency crew" would be in to do repairs, we didn't see anyone working on it the entire time we were there. There was virtually no storage space for clothes or personal belongings, the pillows smelled like the last guesst's after shave and about half of the space on the deck was taken up by the BBQ grill.

Summit County Mountain Retreat stay at the Dakota was exceptional. Not only was the room comfortable and cozy we were in the heart of downtown Keystone, surrounded by great restaurants and excellent skiing! Our ski rentals at the Norski Sport Rentals was located right behind the Dakota, getting our skis and returning was a breeze. Dakota was a 5 minute or less walk to the lifts. Such an amazing time, thank you Summit County and The Dakota for an amazing first time in Keystone, CO!

The property was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed. The kitchen was particularly well stocked with dishes and cookware, although the pans were not non-stick. We appreciated having sharp knives and wine glasses ! There were also some nice plastic cups for the hot tub. The bed was comfy. We loved all the hooks in the bathroom ! We also like the fireplace which was a little more realistic and put off more heat than others we've seen. The view was also very nice. The walk to the Gondola was about 10 minutes - in ski boots.

We loved this condo. Great location in main village.. less than 5 minute walk to gondola. The complex has a huge outdoor heated pool with 2 large hot tubs that overlook the frontside ski slopes. Condo is very well maintained and had everything we needed. Excellent communication with rental office throughout the entire trip. We would definitely stay here again.

We were there for a little under a week and had four towels for the two of us, so two towels each.We went to go get more from the locker but each time we went the towels had already been taken.The fireplace was AMAZING. The sauna was hit or miss and had to be reset a number of times and one the hot tubs stopped working so the second hot tub was packed.Glad we chose a unit on the second floor because the elevator is pretty slow so we ended up using the stairs a lot.Might want to replace the shower head. It doesn’t work well or produce hot water on two of the three settings.Summit County Mountain Retreats was FANTASTIC!! Always responded so quickly. The directions to get into the unit was super easy! Couldn’t have asked for an easier process!

This property is perfectly located for hiking, biking, walking, and just enjoying nature in the mountains. We stayed for four weeks and were able to easily work from the condo when needed. Keystone is a beautiful place to visit and we were very sad to have to leave.

What didn't go well:

1) Blinds -- When we first walked into the unit, I went over to the sliding door to open up the blinds. I pulled the cord and the entire thing fell on my head. These are very heavy blinds.

2) Linens -- close to bedtime we opened the sofa bed to find we needed to add all of the linens. The closet in the bedroom only had 2 blankets -- no sheets and no pillow cases. We had to call maintenance to get sheets but they did not bring pillow cases so we used towels.

3) WiFi -- the TV in the living room was a nightmare. The wifi would not connect, there were so many remote controls we didn't know what to do. We literally spent an hour trying to get the TV working but never did. This, coupled with the linens, did not make for a smooth bedtime with kids. We never got the TV to work.

Miscellaneous:
- The stove range did not work very well, it seems like it needs more power or something. Boiling pasta took an hour.
- Something that could have helped is a door stop for carrying in luggage and children.
- The fireplace can't be used when the sofa bed is out since it opens up practically into the fireplace. Also, you have to climb over the bed when it's open to get across the room.
- Maybe move the 2 bare Christmas trees to make more room?
- The cabinet to access the garbage can is really annoying and inconvenient, especially for kids.
- There isn't anywhere to put clothing except on the floor.
