Wonderful stay at El Cantil, very clean and has everything you could need. We are counting the days on our return.

PERFECT location, easy access in and out of the ocean, large clean pool with plenty of lounge chairs! My family has lived in Cozumel as well as we visit frequently and the location of El Cantil can't be beat. The sunsets from balconies are amazing. Quiet units with plenty of staff at entry to answer any questions as well as very safe. Unit was clean and although some updating could be done it did not take away from our stay at all. We requested extra towels as we had majority of females that require a towel for hair and another for body and the extra towels were provided first thing the next morning. We will definitely return.

Great location - close to groceries, ferry, etc., beautiful property, large balcony, all 4 BRs have their own bath. Everything was comfortable, relaxing, and safe. Loved it!!!

Awesome location and a great view of the ocean. Great to have the ping pong table in the house! Lots of space for activities. Highly recommended. Only downside was that the hot tub was out of order.

Condo as described

Had a great time and enjoyed the property very much. I'm sure we will return and do it again. Until then by for now.

The apartment was spacious, big terrace / balcony with a magnificient view towards the ocean and pool area. Good selection of dishes and pans if you like to cook your own meals. The dishwasher should be replaced asap since it was in terrible condition and leaked water while running. Communication with manager Eve was easy and she was always eager to assist. The apartment is a corner unit and in this case it was a minus since we could hear loud music at night until 2 am from nearby bar and noise from nearby construction area. The location of El Cantil is great for supermarket and restaurants, you can manage without a rental car and just use the taxi. Overall we had a wonderful time in El Cantil!

great place to stay .

This was our second time to this same unit, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The condo is clean and well appointed. Housekeeping was wonderful each visit (be sure to tip her!). The condo is in a great location for walking to town and for grabbing a taxi to head out of town. The bedrooms are spacious, each with its own en suite bath. The kitchen is a bit dated but fully functional and absolutely adequate - this is an observation and not a complaint. I won't really speak as to the interior because we spent nearly every waking moment while at the condo on the balcony! My singular complaint is it is already booked for next year!

Second stay this year. We loved it. The bellmen out front helped with anything we needed. I used what’s ap to communicate with the property manager and responses were immediate. Dive companies pick you up at the dock out front. Pool is beautiful. Location is one block from the huge grocery store. You will not regret this stay 10 out of 10

Our group loved the property. Amazing views, beautiful pool, great hot tub on the balcony, Here are some tips: 1. Supermarket across the street (not the mega) is very affordable. Great place to stock up on food and drinks for your stay. We left some shopping bags in a drawer. 2. Get some pesos and offer to pay for everything in pesos. Taxi's charge about 40% less when you pay in Pesos, and you will save 10-20% at most restaurants so credit card or cash always offer to pay in Pesos if you can. 3. Dive with Martin was amazing. They will pick up and drop off at the dock at the property. We were a mixed group of certified, getting certified, and non-certified and they accommodated all of us. 4. Eve, your contact for the property is extremely responsive and willing to help with everything. Edgar, one of the staff at the property is also helpful 5. Get to Ciello beach. It's amazing with stingrays cruising the crystal clear thigh to waist deep water. 6. Bucahnos is worth the trip if you want a great dinner, with an amazing view in a beautiful setting. It's pricey for the island, but reasonable for the states. 7. Very relaxing pool which we used for hours each day. 8. Short walk to the plaza with multiple places to eat. We enjoyed Jeanies, Rolandi's (almost next door), and the restaurant above Fat Tuesday's were all good and easy not the wallet. Cozumel Dreams is a great Sushi place with a $21 all you can eat in an hour option. Very limited seating and closed Sunday and Monday. 9. Couple of things in the condo could use some updating, but all in all very comfortable with beach towels and everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of our best vacations ever in large part to the location and amenities at El Cantil. Would go back again in a second.

We enjoyed our stay at El Cantil. It was my wife, daughter, a good friend and his wife. Plenty of space for us, and could of had another couple no problem. The condo is very roomy and clean. Can’t beat the views and location. Close enough to town but far enough away. The views from the balcony are hard to beat. The pool area was great, we spend a lot of time down there. My daughter and us had a blast meeting new people. All and all great spot, looking forward to our next visit.

Everything was as expected or better. We will definitely stay here again!!!

This was out fourth stay at El Cantil, but our first stay in this condo. The condo was exactly as represented in the photos and sitting out on the balcony or on the beach after a morning of diving was wonderful. The air conditioning works great (important when it is 90 degrees outside) and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has what you need to cook a meal and with two grocery stores within a block, it was easy to get what we wanted for breakfast and lunch. For dinner, it was an easy walk into town every night and we ate at some old favorites (La Mission, La Choza, La Cocay) and discovered a new one, Ix Kool, which served authentic food from the Yucutan and was just delicious. We dove with DIVE WITH MARTIN and it was one of the best diving experiences I have had in Cozumel. Jose was our dive master and had a great eye for finding small things like pipe fish, nudibranchs and baby flounder and pointing out splendid toad fish, scorpion fish, lobster, countless turtles, black tip and nurse sharks and lots and lots of rays. The diving was fantastic. Jose was also really helpful when I had some problems with my gear (bad inflator hose) and got everything fixed right away (and it was my own gear, not a rental). As for COVID, Cozumel was very safe. You have to have your temperature taken and use hand sanitizer before entering any building. You need a COVID test 72 hours before returning the the US but you can get the test on a walk-in basis at the International Hospital. Our results took less than 2 hours. The only thing I did not enjoy about the condo was the cleaning service. The first time they came, we were in the middle of making lunch, so we just asked for clean towels. The second time, we were not there and they did not replace most of the towels and didn't clean ANYTHING! Very disappointing, especially because there wasn't a broom or a mop that we could use and by the time we left, the kitchen floor was a mess.

Very clean, comfy beds. Enjoyed the grocery being so close and walking to several restaurants. Would have liked access to the washer/dryer, would have paid extra. Recommend paying for additional housekeeping. Only had housekeeper twice in 8 nights…no extra towels provided. Would recommend this unit and would stay there again.

Amazing views of the crystal clear weather! Walking distance to great shopping/restaurants. Spacious with ping pong and amazing balcony! Felt extremely safe the entire time! Would highly recommend and we will be back!!!!!

I have stayed at El Cantil several times, in different condos. The location of the property just cannot be beat! The doormen were just fantastic. This is a secure building. Its a good thing it is so secure becasue we( 2 single women tarveling alone ) discovered that the condo door deadbolt would NOT lock. I emailed the management company and they were prompt to send the island manager over to check it out. The advertisement said the property had a "guestbook" with info on how things work, etc. There was no book. We had trouble with the tv. (there was a damaged cord ) again, the island manager checked it out. Said she would send someone in to fix it. (that never happened) that being said... not a big deal because we weren't there to watch tv. The manager was excellent! Very helpful and great communication! Top notch, professional.So..... to the next guests who stay after us ( May 12-19th )I left a few things there which I think you will find helpful. These are just simple things that I feel the owner should provide. I have stayed in VRBOs all over the world, so I know what great owners provide. We left a wine opener. Who doesn't provide a wine opener? My gift to a property when I leave is almost always the same. I small knife sharpener. I also sharpen ALL the knives while i'm at it. Some plastic sandwich type bags, some foil, and some paper plates! maybe some paper and a pen to write a list or a note. None of these things are expensive, and can really make guests stays much more enjoyable. Maybe leave some ice in the trays in the freezer. All these "minor" things, could make a great stay an EXCELLENT stay. We also left a raft for the pool as well as a few simple spices. There was only salt and pepper when we arrived. You're welcome! LOL.We very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again.

Nice end unit. Small issues with one AC drain pump that ran loudly through out night. Another that was musty. Minor issues. Very comfy stay

Overall an excellent stay. Day 1 shower didn’t work, but quickly repaired later that afternoon. View can’t be beat!
