Second year staying here for 5 nights. Can't beat the location and the host was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this home for a large group!

A spectacular property with all the indoor and outdoor amenities you need to make your trip a great success. The property owners thought of everything you need, including games ,grills,kayaks and toys, to make every day an adventure. You only need to show up with ypur suitcases and nothing else. You and your family will have a fun filled day without ever leaving the property. You wont be disappointed.

Overall, the home is amazing. We did arrive a day after Tropical Storm Idalia and that is the only reason I gave a 4 star rating for cleanliness, (which only pertains to outside the home). There is plenty of room to move around as we had a group of 12 adults. The pool had a great view of the bay and the evening view was nice. The beach is literally across the street. There are wagons, and plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels for the beach. There are floaties for the pool and lots of toys for the kiddos. There were two kayaks and a paddle board, which unfortunately we did not have time to use. The surrounding areas around the house were very quiet. Inside the home, we had plenty of dishware and cookware to use and plenty of seating with a table inside and outside the main living area. The bathrooms had plenty of towels to use, and a laundry facility to use if you should need to wash. There is an elevator in the home for easy transport of luggage and groceries to the upstairs area. The home has 3 levels, with decks surrounding most of the home. I would definitely recommend this home and would not hesitate to rent on our next visit to the area.

If you run into any issues on your stay, especially things that are not easily fixed, don't expect much of anything from this host. After arguing with me all day about an issue that we felt was their responsibility, she became unprofessional and hostile and stated "We will be extremely happy when your stay is over". This made us SO uncomfortable staying there our final evening. I have no doubt Darcy will try to discredit me and even make up lies about what happened, and VRBO does not allow me enough characters to fully explain so I have made a blog post you can read if you care to know the details. https://negativevrbostayindianrocksbeach.blogspot.com Short story is something went wrong with the pool equipment and overheated the pool to 102 degrees. It only cooled off to 98 which was still way too hot to comfortably use. Although she did respond immediately and get the heat turned off, she continually argued with me about the actual temp of the pool (her equipment and a digital thermometer showed it at 98 degrees, she said that meant nothing as her "app" showed it was fine). Losing the ability to use the pool for an entire day when we were only there 4 full days was a huge issue for us, as my elderly parents cannot simply go swim in the ocean. Just offering to send over a pool tech to verify that things were now working correctly or putting the pool into cooling mode or something would have been nice and smoothed things over but Darcy is a penny pincher.

Beautiful home and location. The pool area was wonderful and pier out to the bay was great. Location to the beach was just steps away. Our family enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere after 5 days at Disney World. Relaxed and made beautiful memories!

The house worked perfect for our family of 8 adults. Lots of stairs, it might be difficult to corral small children.

Truly a wonderful vacation spot! House was clean, just as the pictures displayed and the location was perfect. The house sets back a way from the road, so you don’t hear the cars on the busy street. And there was no loud music or noise from condos on left. The beach was just across the street and there is a crosswalk signal to stop traffic to help you get across. House was fully stocked in kitchen with plenty of soap in bathrooms and laundry pods. Fully stocked dishwasher pods and garbage bags. Greatly appreciated! Beautiful clean pool and hot tub and walkway out to the bay. Any minor issues we had was quickly solved by Darcy who was kind and understanding . Plenty of beach accessories and towels for the beach. Only negative was the grill which needs replaced. But this house is very well taken care of and I’m sure it will be replaced. Hope to be able to visit again and stay here. One word of advice: make reservations to eat. Restaurants very busy. BC

We rented this house for my daughters graduation from UT. We had 7 adults 3 teen Agers and a 21/2 year old. We fit very comfortably with extra room. The location to the beach was great and the house had plenty of beach chairs. The pool and the hot tub where nice to enjoy. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck and saw dolphins and boats go by. The TVs where hard to figure out and the grills weren’t clean at all and the house smelt a little musty when we first got there. But that didn’t affect our stay at all if we had been staying longer I would have liked a clean grill. We stayed four nights so we didn’t do a lot of cooking. The beds where comfortable and there were plenty of towels and blanket. The elevator wasn’t working when we arrived. The home owner was very responsive and it was fixed the next day. I would definitely rent this house again. We had a great time!

Great home right across the street from the beach and close to several great restaurants. Check in was very easy and included photos with instructions. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable, plenty of towels provided including beach towels. We had a tough time trying to figure out some of the TVs in the bedrooms, lots of remotes per tv and no instructions. All in all I would definitely recommend this property and we plan to come back next year!

We enjoyed our stay but there were lots of little items that needed repair/improvement. Darcy and Matt, the owners, were responsive and did the best they could but the house needs a handy man to fix/update many issues: When we arrived the main floor AC was not working and with 3 bedrooms and the kitchen/DR/LR on that level, 77 was really warm, especially for sleeping. Very few of the windows actually function for opening so no cross breeze available-which would have been a huge plus being that we were located on the strip of land between the Intercoastal and the ocean. The main doorwall had apparently been out of commission for months (as the homeowner stated the part was on back order for that long) so you have to exit the side of the house and walk around to use the deck. To the owners credit they had an AC guy come the next morning and rig the AC to work for the main floor. For some reason that made the AC upstairs (3rd floor) go into overdrive and it was 63 in the master bedroom & bath the whole week, which was chilly. This was even with the unit upstairs turned completely off. In the office upstairs the ceiling fan did not work so owner offered to replace with another he had in the basement. He was able to remove the broken one, but not replace it. Again, to the owners credit they went to the store and bought 4 box fans to help cool the rooms down. We appreciated that. Neither the fridge in the office nor the ice maker in the main kitchen worked. They bought us bagged ice and came back with a portable ice maker the next day. The pool & spa managed to work most of the week, but it overflows into the Sandy area they built overlooking the Intercoastal. Pool guy said they have a “leak issue”. BBQ was in rough shape and all the solar lights that guide you out to the end of the dock are dry rotted and broken. We also replaced ping pong and dart board equipment as it was all trashed. The have 3 or 4 bikes none of which are functioning. Flat tires, broken chains etc and of the two sea kayaks one has a good paddle, the other is duct taped together. The whole garage area needs a good cleaning- full of kids toys, buckets and wagons full of sand. All relatively minor fixes but at the price we paid, you expect more from a property like this. The area is nice. Walk to beach is short. All the furniture and and beds are comfortable. Decorated nicely. We didn’t have any problems with the elevator. We made the most of our stay, & the owners were kind

You really cannot find a better location than this property. We had our own pool overlooking the Intercoastal and then, about 500 steps away is the Gulf of Mexico with beach access! Setting in between many great restaurants both north & south, the property was quiet as it set back of Gulf Blvd. Fishing is fun in the Gulf and off the private dock in the back of the property. Big kitchen with luxury appliances, dinner seating for 8 comfortably plus more at the kitchen island. Great wrap around deck on main level for morning sunrises & coffee, then another wrap around deck at the top level. Owners were easy to work with and very responsive to all of our questions. If you have a group of 8 and want to be at Indian Shores or IRB (Indian Rocks Beach), this is the place! If we come back with the family, this will be our first choice.

Four work colleagues and I rented this house for a two-day work session. It was beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. We walked on the beach in the mornings before work and enjoyed the pool and sun decks during our lunch breaks. Very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful house! Great location.

The pictures showed a house without flaws and while we still enjoyed our overall stay, we would not book again. The place was clean, kitchen was spacious, rooms were well organized with extra storage. The elevator was neat. Our biggest complaint comes from the pool. We paid an extra $150 to have the pool at 80 (over the holidays the high was <50) and the adults never got in to either the pool or the hot tub. The system only running for 3 hours made it impossible for the pool to be ready when it was actually wanted such as in the morning or after getting back from an excursion. The hot tub was used once but majority of the time, it was colder than the pool. The dock was beautiful and long and provided a fun viewing experience throughout the day but solar lights didn't work but were left in place and broken. The upstairs tub in the primary bedroom didn't work (the only tub in the house). The main level shower backed up with 1-2" of standing water. The lock in the upstairs bathroom was broken. The door leading to the balcony on the main level wouldn't close without specific finesse. There were plenty of fans and lights, 4 controllers for fans but no batteries and no labeling to know where they even went too. The heat in the master bedroom doesn't work off it's own controls (how would we know that) but rather works off the study controls. It was 58 on the first night. I did reach out to the owners and had good response but all the things that were broken and damaged could not be fixed while we were there. No mention of these mishaps in their listing. For the price a night, I (we) expected much more than what we got. A manual of the house would be a great addition, all the quirks that you wouldn't know not having stayed there before. At this time, I would not recommend staying here.

This property is in a perfect location with a short walk to the beach and several restaurants! We had 13 staying at the house, the house was spacious enough for all of us!

Location & view excellent, heated spa & pool wonderful, all the equipment & toys in 1st level great, especially kayaks & ping pong. Problems, elevator not working on arrival (fixed on day 5) washing machine inoperable entire stay (housecleaning must have known and not reported) Hosts responded to calls & sent repairmen for several other small problems.

It seemed very run down on the outside, and I was given the excuse "it rains every day" in Florida when I asked about the pool furniture which was dirty and soaked from a tropical storm. The owners were so "energy conscious" that we had to get up early to turn the spa on and we never had the pool heated because of the hours they had established for when we could run the water heater. Unacceptable to say you have a pool and yet not include heating it to at least useable temperatures. Final straw for me is the elevator and 1/2 the electrical in the house didn't work, and they offered to have someone come check out the electrical but ignored the elevator. I am a disabled veteran and stairs are incredibly difficult. Elevator was a selling feature we never got to use even after asking about it twice during our stay.

The house and property was exactly what we had hoped for for our family. Our son got married on Indian Rocks Beach and this was the PERFECT headquarters for our family and friends. Every bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable! Our only disappointment was that the pool and hot tub heater didn't work. More so because I had explicitly messaged several weeks before how important the pool and the hot tub were to us (and got an immediate and thoughtful response). While a mere $40 pool fee was refunded, it wasn't about the money. The elevator didn't work, but that had no negative effect on our stay. Would we stay there again if another occasion in the area presented itself? That's an easy, yes.

Great house and location for group of 8 guys for a sports game weekend. Pool/hot tub area is quite private, walkway dock is a nice touch, and easy beach access right across the street. Home is plenty large and kitchen is well stocked for meal prep. Very responsive owners to the few minor issues we had - keypad not working, remotes without batteries and hot tub not hot enough. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

Wonderful house to stay in, close to beach. Matt & Darcy were prompt in answering our questions. We would stay at this destination again if in the area.

I love Indian shores! My family has been going there for years. My girlfriends and I rented this house for my bachelorette party. The view, especially from is pool can not be beat! It’s amazing! Getting to the beach is so convenient-it’s right across the street! Lots of room and definitely would be good for a big family or multiple families.

We had a wonderful time at the house, great location, so close to the beach - and we could watch the dolphins and manatee from the comfort of the house pier. My only criticism is the aircon, which was tricky to control so that each bedroom was comfortable, but this was a minor point and didn’t spoil our stay in any way. We absolutely loved it!!!

Had a lovely time at this property. Practically On the beach, pool was amazing. perfect for all our needs- Would stay here again for sure. My only suggestion would be to label the light switches / remotes- they were very confusing and we could not get most of them to turn on. Host is quick to respond to messages. Plenty of towels pool floats etc. Thanks for a great space to have the girls weekend!

The house and location were great. Just a short walk down the driveway, cross the street and you’re at the beach. The pool was beautiful and the view from the pool was amazing. The house needs some attention. The garage door doesn’t lock, there was black mold on the air vents in the master bedroom and the one deck door handle is so worn out it’s very hard to latch.

This place is amazing! From the pool to the hot tub to the pier the family always had something to do! We immediately noticed how clean this property was compared to others we have stayed at! There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family! Everything is as advertised in the listing! We will definitely consider this property again in the future for our vacations!

This rental was great for our family reunion. We had plenty of space for the four families staying. It was well stocked with beach equipment including umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, floats, etc. the view was incredible at both ends of the home. The kids enjoyed the pool as much as the beach. Darcy was very responsive with any of our needs including making sure the elevator was functioning for my disabled dad to use and be included either at the pool level, main level and he was able to enjoy the comforts of the master room on the top level! Thank you Darcy!

We had 13 people in all at the house. Two children age 3 & 6. Great house location and plenty of space for your own privacy if needed. Unfortunately the house was struck by lightening the 2nd night which caused the elevator to quit working along with the pool and Wi-Fi. The owners were great and came out to the house when we notified them. The Wi-Fi and elevator never got fixed due to repairmen unable to fit in their schedule. This was out of the owners control. It was nothing we couldn’t work through. Just a couple luxuries we did without. Would definitely recommend this property. We would come back to the same place. Especially if you have a large group of people. Everyone still has plenty of room.

The location of this home is wonderful - pool with a view of the intracoastal, beach across the street, close to restaurants and shopping. All in all it was a great stay! The property is large, but had some quirks - stairs down to the main living space and up to the elevator, no railing for the pool made it a bit challenging for elderly parents with balance issues though the elevator was a huge help.

We had a good time at the property. Quick access to the beach. There were a few things that didn’t work at the property but nothing that highly impacted our stay.

10/10 would recommend! Amazing house! Great location! And even better host! The house was clean, as well as the pool, great restaurants near by and the beach location couldn’t have been better. At first we were hesitant to get the house because the price was a little high but after getting it we understood why. The elevator was so convenient to bring up the luggages and coolers. Couldn’t have picked a better house. Thank you so much!
