The home is beautiful and communication with the property manager was a breeze. Highly recommend.

My family (particularly my father) can be hard to please and this house was awesome!!! We had 14 people in our party at one point and everyone had plenty of space. There was so much to do from billiards, kayaking, fishing, enjoying the scenery by the fire pit, and/or staying indoors and warching TV. Everything was immaculate and neighborhood was so quaint and peaceful. Debbie was very responsive to questions and the communication overall was superb. Everyone had a great 4 day weekend. We would definitely return.

Large, clean and comfortable. Never left the property for anything, great get away. Would like to be open more of the windows especially in the bedrooms.

Loved this beautiful home located on Owasco Lake..it was so perfect for our annual family getaway..so many awesome memories were made visiting by the fire pit and by the lake..we all enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided..the kitchen is beautifully updated and well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals..the billiards room is awesome..my husband’s favorite room..the bedrooms were beautiful and the beds very comfortable..The owner was always available to answer any questions or requests we had and was amazing to deal with.. Skaneatles is only a 20 minute drive and is a beautiful little town with great restaurants..I can’t say enough good about this home..I would definitely stay here again.

We rented this home for a weekend Friendsgiving. It was perfect. The home is huge yet still warm and inviting. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the Billiards room. The pictures don’t do it justice.

We had a fabulous stay. Loved the kitchen and dining area. The living room with windows to the lake was awesome each morning at sunrise. The billiard room was a huge hit. Would love to stay again in the summer.

Due to the pandemic, we were unable to celebrate my 80th birthday last year as a family. However, we celebrated Thanksgiving along with my 81st birthday at the Adams House this year. The rooms were lovely, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. My two daughter-in-laws and a son enjoyed preparing fantastic meals in the large kitchen. The area outdoors was very quiet and peaceful. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely!!! Thank you!!!

Sam Adams house is an amazing place. The house is spacious and just as described. The lake front area is nice. The weather didn’t give us much opportunity to enjoy outside, but when the weather cleared, the night sky was absolutely amazing! The place is peaceful and quiet. We hope to stay there again in the future.

The home was beautiful and made for a terrific stay. Only issue we had was a little too far from the winery tours we were interested in but we made it work.

This is a great property! Lakefront, peaceful and beautiful. The home is well stocked w what you need for a vacation stay- well appointed kitchen, fishing poles, kayaks, paddle boards & firepit. All the rooms w comfortable furniture etc. We were there for a family celebration and it was perfect! Hope to be back soon!

Debbie & Rick, Beautiful spacious clean home! We had a great stay at your beautiful property this past weekend celebrating years of friendship and our 60th birthdays. We were so comfortable and had excellent weather. We enjoyed the home playing games in the evening including pool, bocce, hiking, yoga in the great room, kayaking, and fires! We have discovered Owasco Lake and it’s beauty. We are looking to rebook for another trip next year.

The pictures do not do justice for the beauty of this property. It is absolutely wonderful! The house is spacious, clean and perfectly organized. The bathrooms are strategically placed to accommodate all of the bedrooms. No matter which window you look out of, the view is awesome. We stayed with family members and everyone would love to return. The check in and communication with the property manager was flawless. I don't typically write reviews. However I wanted to because we have been to several properties in the finger lakes and this was the most accommodating and beautiful. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed here during the kids February break. Beautiful property and very clean house. Our group had a great time and would love to go back in the summer to be able to utilize the lake!

This home is amazing. The quality of architecture, design, and amenities is incredible. Debbie and Rick respond immediately and go over and above to ensure the guest experience is exceptional. The Samuel Adams house is huge with large spaces for gathering and plenty of beautiful private paces. The construction is top quality – solid wood doors, USB outlets everywhere, comfortable beds, heated floors in bathrooms, well stoked kitchen with tons of cabinets, and enclose, peaceful porches. There is a babbling brook that runs under a section of the home – incredibly peaceful. We were at The Samuel Adams house on Wide Waters Lane to run a virtual conference and the entire event was flawless – 100% up time on the internet, a lovely home on a beautiful lake. It was November – we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplaces and fire pit. The house is large and allows space for social distancing inside and out. Debbie, the owner (and Rick) was there to help with anything we needed – especially when we discovered it is tough to get an Uber to go to the airport. If you are flying in, Uber and Lyft are readily available at the airport but not at the house. A rental car is a good idea for to/from the airport. Instacart delivers to the house from multiple stores in Auburn so there is no reason to leave the property during your stay. We highly recommend this home and would be 100% confident that any property Debbie and Rick have would be as wonderfully appointed as the Samuel Adams House.

This was even better than the online photos. We were amazed at every room, loved every inch and enjoyed the décor. We were fortunate to have record temperatures in November and were able to enjoy the sunshine on the porch, firepit, lakefront and scenic walks. We plan to visit the Samual Adams House again!!!

Place was great!

We had a lovely fall weekend at the Samuel Adams House. The check-in process was seamless and Debbie was super responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as described (newly renovated and very clean) and our large family enjoyed ALL of the living spaces, playing pool, fishing, kayaking, campfire and simply sitting on the dock and enjoying the lake and beautiful fall foliage. We'll be back!

We just stayed at the most amazing property called The Samuel Adams House! It is a beautiful historic Tudor style home that was painstakingly renovated to its former glory. We had a group of 14 stay here and this property is so large, at times we didn’t even know where everyone was! We loved every room of this house! The main living room is huge and has a beautiful cobblestone fireplace and large tv with plenty of seating. The owners also have another room made entirely of cobblestone that they turned into a beautiful billiard room. There is a large tv with plenty of seating at the pub tables. Might I add that both of these rooms have drop dead gorgeous lake views! There is also another living room that is off the kitchen and two separate four season sitting porches, perfect to read a book or enjoy some quiet time. The kitchen is beautiful and is nicely equipped and a wood stove is a nice added bonus! There are also 6 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms!! The lakefront is unlike anything we’ve seen on the Fingerlakes. It’s over a one acre compound that is very private from other properties and you actually have to drive over the owners private bridge to get here! The beachfront is incredibly spacious and we enjoyed fishing and kayaking every day we were there. I can’t say enough about this property. During the days of the shutdown due to COVID-19, we counted down the days until we could finally get away and get out of the house and we are so thankful that we chose this property. Thank you so much to Debbie and Rick. We deeply appreciate all that you did to make our vacation so memorable! This was our first visit to this magical property but it certainly won’t be our last! We will be calling you very soon to book again in 2021!!

A group of family and friends get together, at a beautiful lake front home (too cold to swim). Place is great, in a beautiful part of the country, got to see the autumn colors. Would highly recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a nicer lake house. We walked in and were just amazed at how beautiful everything was - the furniture, the kitchen, the lake views - even the bathrooms with those heated floors. Just perfect. The house was sparkling clean - no fears about that dreaded COVID. More than enough room for a total of 6 adults and 2 children to spread out. The lake was breathtaking and made all of us feel calm and relaxed. The property is very private, which we really appreciated. My husband and son did a lot of fishing. When he wasn't fishing, my son was addicted to the pool table and still brings up how much he loved it. Between that and the fishing, he was in his glory. We booked it again for next summer and can't wait to go back.

Our mixed group of adults and kids had a wonderful stay at this property. We utilized all of the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The lake views were amazing. We’re glad we rented a pontoon boat for the week because it allowed us to really experience all that Lake Owasco had to offer. The house was very spacious and spotless upon arrival.
