The house was nice. It does have a few flaws but the price reflects that. Could use a few more dishes. Kitchen amenities are minimal but the basics are there. We used the large pool by the coin laundry and it was evrything we needed. We would stay again.

The central location was good. A cute little property that met our needs. It was helpful to have onsite (shared/coin laundry), it was a trek to find at first, but the host's map was helpful. Responsive host. Friendly suggestions for improvement: the bathroom could use a little TLC and the drain plug in the bathtub needs fixing (if you or your child needs/wants to take a bath the tub will not stay full); master bed was too squeaky and uncomfortable for two adults, and the last few nights we were kept awake by the sound of roof rats. Overall enjoyed the stay.

This is our second time at this property but first time in this unit. We absolutely love it here. The cottages have all the essentials, comfortable beds and are right on the water. We’re Floridians so we understand that you’re occasionally going to see an ant or something from outside inside but it’s because of the climate and not the cleanliness. Can’t wait to go back!

Great location, be careful pulling out onto the highway. The house is decent, you can tell it has weathered some major storms (floors are slanted and it doesnt seal up real well). Thermostat says dont go below 75 and AC was NOT keeping up with the outside temps. A bit warm at times. It does have access to a nice pool right at the edge of the water, property was quiet with just a few other respectful guests in the area. It was priced right for a short notice trip.

The cottage is like glamping. We had geckos and what looked like a giant cockroach in the home. Every item in the house felt second-hand: the shower handle that fell off every time you turned it on, the pots and pans whose handles were loose or missing, the oven temperature know that was so worn you couldn't see the actual temperature you were setting the oven to, the outdoor furniture whose cushions were torn and moldy. I had read a prior review about the upkeep not being done and that there wasn't a working porch light. I thought that things would be repaired by the time we had it booked -- there was still not a working porch light for us. The best thing about the place was it fit our budget.

Overall a quain little cottage about 100 feet from cudjoe bay, 25 miles to key west. The cottage needed some repairs, and upkeep. Stove, porch light wasnt wking the kayak and canoe that was there had holes in it, flooring issues, also very little amenities such as kitchen supplies, towels, etc.

the cottage was perfect for 2 couples. Kitchen very usable. However, some things need attention - FIRST - put signage / lighting out at the street entrance - very hard to find - especially at night. #2 - front porch light did not work. #3 - Switches inside front door were broken and had tape over it - not very safe. #4 - Back door lock can be jiggled open. #5 - Suggestion - put 2nd towel bar in the bathroom - after all you have a place for 4 people.

This is great location. Easy boating access to the Ocean or Gulf. If you don't want to go out on the water, it is only a 20 minute drive to Key West. There are also a lot of really good restaurants a short drive away. We stay here multiple times a year and are very happy with this place.

We would stay here again! Off route 1, but back from the road and very private. Beautiful view from the waters edge and the house was well maintained and clean and exactly like the photos! There were nearby restaurants and a little convenience store nearby. Would recommend this rental!

Cottage was bare bones but cute. The beach lounge chairs were tattered and mismatched… kinda like ur grateful ur Flori-tucky family let u stay at their cottage but… u wish the water wasn’t stagnant, wish the pool was bigger than an suv, … it was fine. Wish they had sprayed for bugs inside, and warned of massive no see ups and mosquitoes outside. A lot of overall un attention outside. But nothing to ohh and ahh about. Perfectly ok
LOCATION is fantastic…. I just feel like maybe the owners haven’t been to the property recently? I would love to clean this place up and stay here again! So much potential!

We had an enjoyable time in Florida. Location was quiet and had plenty of room to park our vehicle and Kayak trailer by our unit. Found many locations to kayak through the Mangroves not far from from our unit. Also, was a short drive to Key West.

We basically were looking for a "home base" outside of Key West to cut down on cost. Great location to enjoy all Key West has to offer without breaking the budget. Cottage was comfortable and met our needs, enjoyed the pool. Would recommend.

Could have used more towels. We were there for 3 days, 4 adults 1 towel each. Pool wasn't heated that was disappointing But it was nice and gave us a place to sleep. We never were welcomed or even met the owners.

Room number 13 was very comfortable. Very close to pool and beach. Loved the kayak. The weather (late January to early February) was 78 to 83 degrees with little humidity. If only those clothes washers would spin dry, it would have been perfect.

This property was PERFECT for us and just what we wanted. We loved it was secluded and quiet and out of the way. We also loved the starry nights and beautiful sunrises. Management very easy to deal with. Read the property description and reviews you should get a good feel for what it is like staying there. Guess the best recommendation I can give is we plan to return

This cottage #11, was amazing. Water view and old Key West feel. Met lots on interesting guests in the common spaces. Used the kayaks to explore and rented bikes. Great local restaurants near by. The cottage itself was well equipped and comfortable. The screened in porch was great for coffee in the am. Highly recommend!

The views from the dock were beautiful with the morning sunrise watching particularly enjoyable. The small saltwater pool was refreshing and Cottage 11 which we used very well-maintained, clean and comfortable. Parking not a problem. Driveway could use some better marking when arriving back to the property after dark.

Had no power when first arriving , the property was hard to find with over grown bushes hiding the entrance, the community pool was to be desired as well, not well kept and not enough chairs . I would also suggest maybe provide a couple beach towels to be used for the pool. Over all I would say it was just OK.
