You can sit on the porch and listen to the waves, the couch was a great size for even 7 of us to sit together and watch a movie. It's clean and comfortable. Quiet area

Missing some small items. Door needs pulling pressure to unlock and lock, but we liked it enough to book again.

I told you all about my stay!! Not sure why I got this survey. I was not satisfied. The best part about this rental is the view from the patio!! Will never deal with this owner and and possibly VRBO because you all didn’t help out in any way! Thanks for nothing

Everything was perfect

Great location and very comfortable home! We love visiting during this time of year as the beaches are much less crowded and the weather is fantastic. The size of the house was perfect for our small family gathering. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for making simple meals. House is totally walkable to the beach but it was a bit easier to just take the car 1 minute down the road and park (when factoring in many small children and carrying all of our beach gear). As well stocked as the house is, I was surprised at the lack of available kitchen/multipurpose cleaner and laundry detergent. Not a big deal but would have been much appreciated.

One of the best getaways ever. And it was all because this beach house was so clean, so well stocked, and the location was just out of this world. The views were amazing and the property owners were super responsive. We will definitely be back!

Perfect getaway to just have quality family time relaxing, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony or downstairs enjoying the breeze.

We loved our stay. However, there’s a few things that needs attention, water heater lacks, no hot water available - only warm water comes out both showers. This totally ruined my HOT SHOWER vibe.. The washer is surrounded by mold around the rubber ring- when we first arrived, I did noticed there was trash all around the property, beer cans etc. there was also broken glass all around the beach toy area. BUT over all our stay was amazing. The house, the location, the amenities offered were perfect to accommodate our familia. We would definitely come back! 💛 The Gonzalez~

Lovely home with great views of the beach. We enjoyed our meals and morning coffee on the deck. Beach was relaxing and not crowded. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

The house was beautiful fantastic view! We had everything to make our experience amazing. Loved the closeness to the beach very quiet no crowds. I ei definitely be coming back and referring my friends and family!!

They had everything we needed. Loved that it was away from the crowds. We pretty much stayed from the house to the beach just across the street. It was very relaxing. And best of all we had a beautiful ocean view from our master bedroom and the living room. I washed clothes and folded my clothes looking out at the beach. Drank our coffee in the mornings overlooking the beach. The home was very affordable to have that view. I guess you can tell the view was very important to me. 😁 You will not regret the stay at this property. Thank you for an awesome stay.

Rental house was just as pictured.. BEAUTIFUL! Hosts were very friendly and incredibly helpful. It’s about a 4 min walk to a public beach but it was pretty secluded which is nice! Would definitely come back!! ☀️♥️

The location was easy to access, nice public beach very close to the home with great parking. Checking in and out were very easy. Owners were easy to contact and helpful.

We had a great stay but there were a few minor issues. 1) there is an ant problem in the kitchen. It looks like they are coming through an outlet. 2) the faucet on the bath tub upstairs is leaking. Other then those two things we had a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful and worked out perfectly for our family! Very close proximity to the beach but far away from the hustle and bustle. It was very relaxing to sit on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning. The decor was cute and the beds were comfy!

The only issues we had with the property was water bugs which the owners sent out pest control right away and we had a little problem with the air, but again the owners sent out an AC guy the very next day. The house is beautiful and had all the amenities and was right across the street from the beach. We had a golf cart we drove back in forth. I would highly recommend the location for a family.

Great house overall!! Beautiful view of the beach. Few minor issues... upstairs toilet lid was broken, none of the drawers or cabinets in upstairs bathroom were wiped out(had hair and lotion drops from previous renters), light in laundry room didn't work, the futon upstairs is kind of falling apart (two people couldn't sleep on it), and needs nightstands with drawers in upstairs queen room. But did have a great time and would definitely come back if some repairs were done.

I was very impressed with all the extras this house had. Everything I forgot, this house had- from sandwich baggies to batteries for flashlights. Great location- close to the drive-on beach access.

Rooms were ok size, liked the open space in living area and kitchen. Decks were nice. We could of used a 3rd shower. Convenient to walk to beach. Liked that the beach was not congested with people. Kids had a blast playing on the beach. The only draw back was my husband had a hard time climbing the stairs coming up to house. Overall I would recommend staying there.

The house was amazing ! We loved the two balconies and the rooms. My only complaint is that the downstairs bedroom was hot. It was like it wasn’t getting any air at all. Everything was great though and they had everything we needed for a great vacation!

Our family had a great time on our first beach vacation. This home is located quite a ways down (south/west) on Galveston Island. We like to be a bit more secluded on vacation and enjoyed not being in the busiest areas of town. We went in early June and the weather was amazing (always between 80 to 88 degrees). Most of the closer beaches had only a few people here and there vs. the main beaches which were much busier. Walmart is about 20 minutes away though there are a few smaller convenience/groceries stores closer to the house, where prices are generally much higher. As for the house, it fit our family of seven very well. Plenty of beds and even a pull-out couch that we didn't need to use. There were a few items in house that could use some maintenance work (leaky bathroom faucet, broken garbage disposal, some lights not working, stove with malfunctioning burner dial) but nothing that really bothered us much. Having a fully equipped kitchen helped us save money by making our own meals at the house. You could walk to the beach, though you have to cross a highway to get there. We chose to drive every time since we have young kids and took toys and a cooler along every time we went to the beach. We checked out several of the 40+ beaches on Galveston. It was really great having beach toys available which helped us to make some cool sandcastles! Our kids and my wife really enjoyed the boogie boards. Overall a great place to stay if you are looking for a beach vacation!

The property was just perfect! Great and easy access to the beach. The house is well stocked. Pictures are very accurate. Far enough from the crowds at the sea wall but close enough to good food and entertainment. The beach at this location is not too busy. Thank you for making a great memory for my family. Will definitely be back!

The house was very nice but needed a few items repaired. Outside chairs with cushions needed cleaning.

the location of the property was close to the downtown area. the House was very clean and Pool was great. Communication with the Management was excellent

We had a great time. The place was well-kept, clean, and stocked with essentials. The beach was nice and close. We enjoyed our time by the fire pit and playing with the games that were at the house.

We made a quick trip to the beach over spring break. Property was perfect for our group. Great bed set up with the bunk beds. Property was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a basic beach house. It is not very well stocked, so that’s something to keep in mind. The owners did drop some supplies after we emailed. They were responsive, but we did have a few issues with the internet and a beeping smoke alarm. It is very close to the beach and that was very convenient. Overall, it was a good experience.

We had a great time! The house was nice and clean. Only issue was there weren’t any extra trash bags and the outside trash can was full when we arrived. All minor complaints. We would definitely go back!
