Nice 2 bedroom house with lovely view of the lake. Excellent communication with the host.

It was one of our favorite weekend getaway’s with friends! Being in this friendly community and with church and prayer garden was amazing!! Very peaceful and relaxing! Having a lake and a Mountain View while sitting on the front porch every morning drinking coffee having my devotion was Amazing!!

This house was perfect for a family get together as part of a family reunion! The lake is so pretty and there was so much to do. The house is convenient to everything and we loved our time in this comfortable clean house. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful time. Everything was as advertised. The house was extremely clean, the views sitting on the porch or by the fireplace gorgeous. Lake Junaluska is such a wonderful place to visit. And it was right there for us to explore. Waynesville is close and has some wonderful restaurants.Great golf across the street.

We enjoyed the location of the house and the all the special thoughtfulness of Carolyn! To walk out the door and get on the walking trail just down the street was great. We participated in the scheduled activities , the worship service, watched the 4th of July parade, etc. and it was all a very short walk away! There was a goody basket with treats, a very thorough explanation posted of the checkout procedures, and a wonderfully organized “red notebook “ with so much information for eating establishments, fun ideas, etc! We will definitely be back!

This was my second year staying here and I've booked it again for next year. The extra touches are great! Snacks, water, gift card to local restaurant. And the beds are comfortable. Location is perfect with a gorgeous view of the lake. Home is well-stocked. Everything is great!

We had a wonderful week long stay at Lake Life House. The house is newly renovated and clean and bright. The views from the porch and living room are amazing and the location is perfect for walks and quick coffee breaks.

We had a wonderful experience renting this home. Every aspect was perfect. The home was meticulously set up. It is by far the cleanest rental we have used. The owners have have paid attention to every detail. Everything is labeled so there is no guessing. Beyond this the view is breathtaking! We will be coming again!

What an incredible experience!!! The location (OMG) - 30 min from Asheville and 60 min into the Smokey’s - however the lake itself is perfect. Just perfect. The house has everything you could ever need!!!! Five stars!!!!

Quiet, convenient, hosts made us feel very welcome

Wonderful house. Gorgeous view. Our host, Carolyn goes above and beyond. The queen of hospitality from the goodie basket to the the pet goodies(bed, bowls, treats, and waste bags). Quite impressive. The house was very welcoming. Very comfortable bed and bedding. I felt as if I lived there. Very comfortable. Can't go wrong with this one.

Very pleasant, though a bit tight for 7 women, 2 bathrooms. Blow up mattress was a double bed. Other double was the living room sofa. One of our folks brought her own blow up for sleeping. Great porch used quite a bit. Did not mind construction noise. We were happy to meet the owners.

Our experience staying at the Lake Life house was fantastic? We were visiting to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary and this house was the perfect spot to call home for the long weekend. The house was immaculate, extremely well equipped for our family and the view from the front porch was breathtaking. We were amazed by the energy that Lake Junaluska provides. There were so many wonderful amenities within walking distance, there was always something to do. We walked around the entire lake, we biked, we skipped stones, visited the dam and loved taking in the incredible colors of Fall. We would recommend Lake Life and look forward to returning if we are able to find it available in the future.

We loved our stay at this property. Lake junaluska is so beautiful, I would highly recommend a visit if you are looking for a mountain getaway. The views for the living room at gorgeous. the deck and patio furniture were ve dry enjoyable too. The property was very well set up for guests. I could not think of anything that was missing, the owners have done an excellent job thinking of all the little details! The home was spotless and very clean. It had been nicely updated. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of extra bedding, towels, & blankets. They had a great starter supply of local toiletries and kitchen items. We enjoyed our stay very much & definitely recommend this property!!

Besides a beautiful view, the hosts were very accommodating and helpful, and the house was spotless, we would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Our time in Lake Life was extremely satisfying. The home is comfortable, clean, with wonderful amenities, and the scenery is wonderful! We were looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful mountain setting and that is what we experienced. The hosts are wonderful and caring. We have plans to rent the same place again. It is a true blessing!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable. It was a great getaway for my husband and I and another couple. We were both celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Everything was newly renovated. Well stocked kitchen with utensils and appliances. Extremely comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. A great place to have fun with friends and sit out on the porch looking at beautiful scenery. Great fire pit was fun as well. Very nice snack basket and starter amenities. We enjoyed playing cards and sitting out on the porch talking so much that we never turned on the TV our entire visit! Thank you for a great Respite!

Everything was excellent!

Our experience with this property was perfection from start to finish! Carolyn, the owner, had us well informed of the location and check-in procedure before we left. After we arrived, she checked with us to make sure we found everything to our liking. The house was immaculate, and there was a nice basket of snacks awaiting us. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with silverware, dishware etc. The lake view was a pleasant experience both from the porch as well as through the living room window. And the Junaluska lakeside trail made for a very nice late afternoon walk. The town of Waynesville offered nice shopping and dining, and we were also very convenient to Cherokee NC and a showing of "Unto these Hills." All in all, not only would we return, but we wouldn't consider renting anyplace else!

Everything about the rental went smoothly. We found the beds comfortable. Everything we needed to know, from the A/C to the wifi to the checkout process was well documented. We were there for an annual church retreat and this rental will be top of my list for next year.

This house was incredibly clean and Newley remodeled. The beds / bedding were very high quality which is a rare find. The location is amazing and the property owners are very accommodating and communicate very well. We plan to book again every year.
