Beautiful home with fun wide life all around. The living area upstairs was just perfect.

It was a relaxing getaway.

Perfect place for a get away. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the house was very clean and comfy. Lots of wild life (deer, fox and raccoons). We even had a bear sighting!! Very close to Bushkill falls. We will definitely book here again.

The home itself is well appointed in the kitchen but the house is pretty dark inside and the lighting poor. Needs more lights, especially downstairs. Lots of instructions on how to use the A/C which was confusing at first. The water pressure for the shower was not good. I have thick hair and it took me a long time to get the shampoo out. The well water smell also is pretty strong so you definitely want bottled water, which the owner does provide some. There was a tipped over large garbage bin outside with trash all over that we picked up. The recycle bin was left out near the road so we brought it close to the house. We had 4 adult women and used the top bunk. I think it would be difficult to have 6 adults stay here, especially with only one full bath.

We had a great time staying here. Everything was clean and the house was very welcoming. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. We will definitely book here again.

The house was perfect for a quiet getaway weekend. The views of the water -- from inside or from the backyard or deck -- were very scenic. And, East Stroudsburg was convenient when we wanted to eat out and walk around a quaint town.

Everything about this place was wonderful. The view. The little touches. So clean. House felt like home. Amazingly cozy house.

We rent VRBO homes in tis price range all over the country. This one is #1 in the way it is equipped and supplied. You need bring NOTHING for kitchen, bath or bedroom - everything is supplied. The place is immaculate and comfortable, no musty smell you sometimes get in the woods. The fire features inside and out are available to use year round, and seasoned firewood is plentiful. Huge new TV in living room with Netflix and all usual channels. I also fished the pond in back from the edge. Caught enough pan fish for a meal for two, plus a largemouth bass and a few other misc. species. Very easy fishing with with worms purchased locally. The owner was available throughout for the few small questions we had.

We had a lovely time at the Lakefront Cottage. Perfect for the gathering of three friends from college.

We really enjoyed this comfortable house by the lake. Gorgeous views, shady leafy backyard, comfortable living space with large windows - all of these made us feel very connected with nature even when being inside. Kids played outdoors, made s’mores, ate on the deck. We liked the location (close to Bushkill falls) and the comfort of the house. Would come again

My friends and I had a great time staying here - the property is beautiful, everything was clean and tidy, the house was well stocked with anything we could need, and the owner was friendly and communicative. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
